Delicious Indian food with a sweet kind services… I had the 4 combo with butter chicken, goat curry, and the today’s special eggplant curry, and naan bread. Portions were very generous and the aroma and taste was just perfection. Moist and tender, have plenty for leftover later. Ms. Amani the owner is sweet and very helpful when comes to figuring out what to eat. Clean and organized space. Definitely come back to try the other offers. Plus the sample mango lassi is perfectly sweet and subtle. I’ve head other places this definitely rivals Novi area Indian restaurants. Curry Leaf is a new addition to the Grand Rapids Downtown Market! We had the pleasure of meeting Raj the owner & he was patient, informative, and friendly! They offer a variety of dishes & combos! We tried the Chiken Biriyani, Chicken Tikka, and Butter Chicken. While all the dishes were flavorful & delicious the Chiken Tikka stole my heart! It hits slightly sweet & then the various seasonings come forward and a kiss of heat at the end that builds with each bite! 10/10 would definitely recommend! Soooo delicious! I got the samosas, a mango lassi, and a chicken dish that was the daily special. The spices tasted wonderfully fresh. I'm so excited to have this spot at the downtown market! I like that I can purchase 16oz of a curry so I can bring it home and enjoy on rice bowls for the week. They are 100% immediately integrated into my groceries now. My only slight critique is that the lassi was a little sweet for me (maybe made with sweetend yogurt?), but like another reviewer said, still worth...
