I had placed an order online for pickup this past Saturday. When I arrived, I waited in the car while they finished my order. While parked up front, I noticed that everyone had a mask on except one guy. This happened to be the manager, who was also wiping his nose, not wearing gloves, and touching his glasses.. all while kneading dough and touching other condiments. I recorded a video in case I needed to show it and as I suspected, I walked in and explained what I saw but got no remorse. Instead, he immediately claimed he wasn’t doing any of that, and insisted on seeing the video. Even without a pandemic, this is a serious health hazard. While I was explaining how this was appalling behavior, he continued to ask if he could remake the order or refund me my money. I told him that I didn’t want to give the impression that I was looking for a handout. He continued asking what he could do, in which I replied that he could start by putting on his mask. At this point, one of his employees came up behind him hurling insults at me and giving the impression that he wanted to fight me. The manager had to wave him off so there wasn’t a confrontation. I had also shown him the heart monitor that I now wear due to heart complications caused by covid and why this was so concerning to me. In this day and age with “Karen’s” everywhere, I did my best to stay calm and not cause a scene because I’ve worked many customer service jobs where I understand the struggle. Instead, this was the service I got while calm and it’s extremely disappointing to see. I will be reaching out to the BBB and every possible avenue I can so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Since this is owned and operated by STA management group, I’ll be contacting them as well. I know times are tough, but this kind of behavior is unacceptable and should...
Read moreJust moved to GR and tried my new local store. I always loved Domino’s prior to moving so it seemed like a safe bet…. Man, was I ever bummed! We placed a large order for 5 people (3 pizzas & a brownie) online for delivery. With a diabetic in the house we have a pretty rigid schedule that we eat by. 10 minutes before delivery is due the phone rings….’gee, sorry no delivery drivers…’ Ok, we all have grown accustomed to glitches in our Covid-ruled world. Out the door for pick up we go…not happy but still on schedule and understanding. Phone rings again…now we find out the payments work differently online vs in-store and we have to pay again when we arrive. Becoming less happy by the minute…bordering on irked. When we get our food home we find it decidedly average at best. The crust is chewy, pepperoni too crispy (and greasy but…its pepperoni) and the brownie is burnt. We didn’t even have to look at it, we could smell it. Tragic thing to do to a brownie! Having worked in the restaurant business for many years, I would’ve believed before this evening that large franchise stores have quality controls & standards. I highly doubt anything would’ve passed; I KNOW the brownie couldn’t possibly pass even a sniff test. So that’s it, that’s all! No more Domino’s in this household! Oh…and there were 8 staff members at the store when we picked up the order. Someone gonna try to tell me they ALL walked to work?! I know pizzas do not require a special chauffeur’s license so what’s the deal??? If this were the first unpleasant experience with this store I could chalk it up to a bad night but this seems to be the standard so we cross that one off our list for pizza night…and pray they remember to refund the...
Read more2 stars because the pizza was fresh and tasted good. I ordered car-side pickup because I was managing a sick baby and wanted to get something easy on the table for the rest of the family. When I arrived I called and said I was there for carryout and provided my name and vehicle information. The employee told me I could come in to pick up my order. This was my first time doing car-side, and I didn’t know the language, and mistakenly said carryout instead of car-side. The employee could’ve easily looked at my order when I provided my name. I paused, confused, and said yeah ok, I guess I can park and come in. Again, first time. I had to find parking, there was none available in the lot, get the car seat and baby out (fever 102), and go inside. There were 4 employees standing there. The employee acknowledged that my order was car-side, and I said it was ok. I was already in the building and just wanted to get out of there. They hand me my order stacked with sauces precariously on top in the hand that was not holding 35 lbs of baby and car seat. This would’ve been an opportunity to walk my pizza to my car as I had ordered, or put my loose sauces in a bag, but again, I was ready to be done with the whole experience. This all could’ve been avoided if the employee had looked at the order when I intentionally provided my name at pickup. It was...
