Don't listen to the haters, this place was f**kin amazing. The prices are modest and acceptable, 3 tacos for 5$, 3$ "premium" (carne asada) tacos, my loaded breakfast burrito was only like 8 or 9 bucks, so I have no idea what that other reviewer talking about overpriced food is smoking, but they're just factually wrong.
That said, the building is a little hole in the wall, which me and my girlfriend know as the sign of a legit establishment, and boy did the food deliver. The Pazole soup with hominy was rich, smokey, and had no residual fats on it (didn't have that greasy-ness a lot of pork based soups can have when the pork isn't rendered properly), I had the breakfast burrito and the chorizo was perfectly spicy and the potatoes cooked juuuuust enough to be firm and not mushy, but also soft on the bite. My gf got the Carne asada tacos, and they were so good that we ended up getting an additional order to take back home with us. The salsa were both spicy and still had tomato seeds in them, proving they absolutely make them in house.

Read moreThis place is a hit or miss. The $1.50 Chicken tacos, seem to stay pretty consistent as far as flavor. The flautas can be a good choice, if they're not as hard as concrete that day. Also the grilled chicken/ ribs is delicious, when its not over-salted. I hope this business learns about the importance of consistency in flavor and texture before they loose more customers. The first time I came the food was delicious, the second time disappointing. I decided to give it a third try and I was satisfied, but now every time I go in, I stick to the tacos. Everything else changes its flavor too often, and not...
