Amazing burgers! Almost the best in town. Service could improve. - Dish: NB Wagyu Bistro Burger. This 8oz burger was well thought out and executed with amazing perfection! It was messy, but worth getting our hands dirty. The patty was medium rare to medium and VERY juicy good! The cheese was not a huge portion, but with everything else was still balanced well. BACON! The bacon was great, thick and slightly difficult to bite through, but not bad at all. The avocado was a small nuance rather than overwhelming like some other places. The other toppings were just right and with balanced portions. The bun was also a great choice. - Side: Blueberry Waffle Shake of the Day. You only get one option, but it changes daily. The price is a bit steep for being 12oz. - Service: Put-off to online ordering unless you insist. They do seat you, give you a menu, but the ordering is urged to the app. We insisted on ordering especially because we knew what we wanted before arriving. They bring your food to your table, but you pay at the counter if you do not use the app. The register messed up on several occasions before we were finally able to pay and leave. They then added 20% gratuity by default to our order. Normally, this is fine when it is standard table service, but it seemed like a rip off with how little we were actually served. It was more like a fast food restaurant that does NOT add 20%. - Atmosphere: Bright, modern, and with historic flares. The old Time magazine covers and articles keep the eye’s attention and keeps you busy while waiting. The tables were clean. The music playing was a bit louder and made conversation difficult, though. The bathroom was clean and updated. - Conclusion: I’ve been looking forward to visiting for a long time because I follow them on Facebook and see their weekly specials. They have a passion for making a unique burger every week and I love seeing a restaurant push the envelope like that! Just be aware that the service is not like a standard sit down restaurant. Stopped on a Friday at 5:30pm.

I found this just walking along and decided to try their unusual fish oil and honey with chopped peanut wings. Whoo! a little spicy kick to it and after my eyes watered a bit, i reminded myself that I've never seen an obituary listing "chicken wings" as the cause of death. Being the pioneer I am, I decided to be the first. Jake - (pretty sure that's the new guy's name) messed up my table number, but since I was almost the only one in this joint (without food), my order very quickly and he refilled my death-wrestling root beer. Good call, Jake! My one demerit is listening to "tonights the night to get lucky" wvery 3rd song. Yes... every. Third. Song. Ugh. I'm eating chickens, people! So I killed 2 for their scrumptious wings, at least they get lucky enough so I can indulge in a few more on a regular basis without them going extinct. But really... how about some better music? Rainbow Brite and childhood showtunes would befit the curious and upbeat motif. I wanted to play the foosball table in the corner, but alas, I'm single and trying to die by chicken wing. No one gets to World Cup Fooseball this route. But if you'd like to defy those odds, let me know! Oh and the pickles are good. Get em. They're cheap, tasty and roughagey. I'll come back for my next review which hopefully will be a perfect 5 stars. Just change the music!

The atmosphere here is described as 50's retro meets modern. Yes and No. I'd say it's more late 60's to early 70's retro meets modern. Either way it's a fun environment. You either order on the phone or at the counter and they'll bring it out when done. I Ordered the Nonla Burger Double Meal ($11.50) which is a Double patty, double cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and Nonla spread) served with handcut fries and a fountain drink. I added bacon ($1.50) and added Nonla spread ($1), which is fries topped with cheese, grilled onions, jalapenos, cilantro and Nonla spread. I was worried at first that the patties were too small at 3oz. However I found the burger very satisfying and filling. Overall I very much enjoyed the burger. I normally prefer plump burgers, but these may be my new favorite thin burgers. The Fries I found to be very ehh. There as a filler, nothing more. I wanted a shake, however they only have 1 flavor a day. I really wish they had Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, and a flavor a day. Oh well! The person I was with also had the N.B. Double, however without cheese or bacon and just normal fries. She very much enjoyed her burger and unlike me found the fries addicting. The staff was very friendly. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes, good burger and I'd love to try a Chocolate Shake.

Today's service dropped their service rating down yet again.I understand technical issues. But when I arrived I was told my order would be ready in a couple of minutes. Then after waiting 5+ minutes the other staff member came out and said their system wasn't working and my order hadn't even been started and to drop the order if I didn't want to wait. Which I would have done immediately if informed of that on arrival. And it wasn't because the store was busy as I was the only one in there until another delivery driver arrived. Do I still like their food yes. But I also like my job and if you make me wait 15+(minutes including travel time because I arrived 8 minutes after the order was placed) and shrug and say you can drop it or wait longer because we weren't paying attention. It's a little annoying.

Update 9-28-24 has an issue here today. But the owner was quick to try and resolve the situation. So I'll let it go. And I'll hopefully in the future be able to return to a 5* review as normally the staff here are awesome and the food is good and affordable.

As a delivery driver I visit a lot of restaurants. And eventually try a lot of the food offered at these restaurants.

Have to say Nonla Burger has one of the most friendly and courteous staff I've encountered. The food is really good and the rotating shake flavors are interesting.

I deliver from here a LOT. So not only my recommendation but all the people I bring...

Our family frequents the Nonla on Bridge St. We love the food and we want to love this place so we keep going. It nearly always falls short.. but the food is honestly delicious so we keep giving chances. This place keeps changing and I know they’re trying to find a successful way of doing business but man. It’s confusing. We went in their $1 burger day and waited over an hour for the food, they came over to close out our order because the special ended at a certain time, so they came and closed us out/ made us pay with no other discounts for waiting so long… we also had a toddler @ the table.. & one of the owners closed us out. Last time we went there was a waffle chicken cone special, but they left the Joy label on it so I ended up having to choose between eating the paper or forgoing the best part of the cone, the last few bites. It was also served in a cup and was impossible to get out/ eat. They want you to tip for full service, though it is self serve drinks & clean up ? I feel they need to decide if they want to be a sit down & be served spot or a fast dining place because it’s ridiculous to spend $60 on a meal for 4, and be requested to tip 25%+ in addition after ordering on your phone & they simply bring you the food. I’d rather walk up to the counter and pick it up and not have to be pressured to tip. Are you paying your employees server wages? Bc if so please change the model so we tip...
