My husband and myself visited this new cocktail bar and were very pleased with the atmosphere and ambiance. Right before we were seated, my husband mentioned that three others were coming. The hostess told us she would seat us two first at a table for two and then move us to a table for five once they arrived. We agreed. The waiter that took our drink order was very nice but did not bring the correct drink that my husband originally ordered. As we sat and enjoyed our drinks we watched as all the tables filled up, leaving no room for our party of five to sit all together. We mentioned it again to the waitress/hostess who then looked at us and told us there were no tables available for us and we would need to join the wait list. We had a full empty bench next to our small table where we could all sit together and sip our drinks comfortably so we asked if two of the members of our party could sit on the bench next to us and drink alongside us. She said she needed to speak with her manager. The manager came and told us if the customer is not seated with a table in front of them, they cannot order drinks. So we cashed out and left. We thought it was extremely unreasonable on their part and we will not be returning or recommending...

If you have never tried Drip Drop, you are missing out on a gem!

The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. Even on weekend when they are busy, you still feel cozy and welcome, like you’re just having drinks in the living room at a friend’s house. Whoever is in charge of the music has wonderful taste, they truly know how to curate a vibe.

I especially appreciate that they put so much care into their non-alcoholic offerings. A lot of places just offer soda or an overly-sweet juice “mocktail”. Their mocktails are crafted with the same cordials/syrups/shrubs as their cocktails, and they actually carry NA spirits! As someone who very rarely drinks, it feels nice to have something on the menu that I can enjoy without feeling like an afterthought.

You can tell that the owner treats the staff well. As a long time industry veteran myself, you can tell the staff are happy by the gracious and attentive service they provide to their guests. Their bartenders are always happy to tweak recipes (I’m picky… nuff said), or create something entirely unique for you.

If you are someone new to the craft cocktail scene, you have to give this place a try. You will never want to go back to a vodka-cranberry after...

If I could zero stars I would the drinks were fantastic but the guy who waited on us was horrible Nick A took the table next to us order before ours and we were sat before them and waiting for someone to take our order already we finally got drinks 20 minutes later during this time we watched Nick A ask the table next to us how their drinks were we were never asked how anything was Nick A never once came back to our table after giving us our drinks my boyfriend had to get his attention to get another drink as we watched him walk by us several times without ever looking our way horrible customer service with this guy he didn't do anything to deserve a tip but we left him one still unfortunately and a different waitress asked us if we needed our bill and she brought it to us for the first time coming here i wasn't impressed with the customer service here DO BETTER NICK A! Also I'm not sure how you know when I visited Nick A to say you weren't there your name was on our receipt when we cashed out so I assumed you were our server or does the owners name go on all the receipts cuz I've never heard of that before but ok...

Drip Drop has quickly become my favorite cocktail spot in Grand Rapids. The drinks are always amazing, and the atmosphere is super intimate. I highly recommend this place as an after dinner location. I regularly hit it up after eating across the street at Butcher's. I love sitting at the bar and having Connor and Johnny talk about the different drinks they are making and ideas they have for new menu items. Nick, one of the owners, is always friendly and welcoming, and it's easy to tell how passionate he is about cocktails and Drip Drop.

We stopped into the Drip Drop Cocktail Room on a Friday evening. There was a short wait (about 5 minutes) as the place was very full. We were seated at a clean table and served immediately. The drinks are pricey however they are several ounces larger than a typical cocktail. I tried the “Five Points Kelly/Old Fashioned” and the “Penicillin”. Both drinks were sophisticated in flavor and some of the best cocktails I have had in the greater Grand Rapids area. It is definitely worth a stop if you value a masterfully made cocktail!
