Odalbertos Mexican food — Restaurant in Grand Terrace

I had to make a quick pit stop and was craving carne asada fries 🥩 🍟 so thanks to google, I stopped by this place and am beyond happy with my overall experience . Its nice that they give you two options for the asada fries : regular and large, but they price the large $2.00 more than the regular so it almost makes you naturally default to the bigger portion for the extra $2.00. Not only was my food bomb, super fresh , meat was salted perfectly, but their staff was super pleasant, courteous and helpful. I had 1% left on my phone and left my charger at home so I asked if they had an extra handy (but they didn't) , Luis overheard my request and offered to grab his charger out of his car for me. What an excellent young man !! I appreciate you Luis! It’s kind gestures like these that go a long way. Gracias for treating me like familia. This used to be my go-to spot would eat here multiple times a week unfortunately I feel like it has kind of gone downhill as prices have continued to be raised seems like every time I come. The owner is extremely nice and everybody inside is very friendly but unfortunately my last experience has me questioning about returning.

I ordered a breakfast crazy burrito My total was almost $15 for only a breakfast burrito nothing else and when I got the burrito is one of the smallest breakfast burritos I have received. I understand the cost of everything is raising and places must raise their prices but how can you justify raising your price to sell less burrito then you were previously providing. Read edit please My husband loves the bandito burrito and I always get the birria!! Best birria around compared to other places we have tried. Super affordable, big servings, bomb food. The staff are always super nice. Edit: unfortunately after 3 years they're under new management and have new cooks. Food and service has seriously gone down hill and they have raised their prices for the second time since under new management. The birria has been disgusting the last 6 times I've gotten it. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Food lacks flavor and the service might as well be nonexistent....
