Sweet Life Bakery — Restaurant in Grand Terrace

Due to pregnancy cravings, I stumbled across this pastry/dessert spot. It was quite a drive so I got a lot of desserts! Starting with cake pops, not my favorite at all. Has a lot of textured cake bits. Not a cake pop on my opinion. There was a coffee cake, that wasn't sweet at all. The coffee was super strong and overtook the whole cake. Almost as if they accidentally missed an ingredient because I don't know how anyone can eat that coffee powder cake. Cannolis we're ok. It's a regular whip type of cream inside with chocolate chips. I wish it had more of a crunch to the waffle. I gave three stars bc there was this fruity puff pastry cake that was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, and you can taste all the different elements in the pastry. There fruit tarts cakes are absolutely delicious and fresh! Definitely a must if you go here! Want to go again to try other pastries...

First of all, this place is way overpriced. The standard size cupcakes are almost $3 each with no discount for getting a dozen or more. I made an order of 2 dozen mini cupcakes and I was told over the phone by a guy that they would be filled with Bavarian filling. The teeny tiny cupcakes were $1.95 each and to my surprise not filled. I went back in and spoke to a girl to tell her that they were not filled and she said that the mini cupcakes are not filled. She said "sorry" with an attitude and that was it. The cupcakes were not that good either. The icing was lacking taste. Plus they were put in the box poorly and all toppled over my the time I got to the party. My 3 year old didn't like them and she loves cupcakes. I was disappointed. I found another bakery near by that does a dozen cupcakes for $15 and is way friendlier. Sorry Sweet Life but you need...

I stumbled upon Sweet Life Bakery IG because i was looking for a bakery near my parents' house (we live in LB - parents live in Eastvale) - their rainbow cake was exactly what I needed. Their IG page has their contact information (FYI, they're closed Sunday and Monday), I called on Tuesday for a Saturday pick up order and they took my order over the phone as well as my payment. Very smooth and easy transaction - staff was helpful. The Rainbow Cake exceeded our expectations. It was really fun cutting the cake and seeing those vibrant colors inside and out. The cake itself was not overly sweet, and it was moist. Parents agreed that "it was the best cake they had in a while." 🌈

We also got to try their cake pops, I got the funfetti- 10 out...
