Wishing I could give A ZERO STARS! My dear friend unfortunately received the news her father was going into hospice and had under 2 weeks before he would eventually pass. Well, she moved her wedding date up(so obviously dad could attend) to Saturday. She has gluten allergy so always raves about these Bundt cakes and her fiancee LOVES the frosting. She calls them up this afternoon and asks very kindly if they could fill the center with frosting so she could put her cake topper in the middle. Mind you, she is so distraught but also putting this wedding together and trying to make it as special as possible...well her request was met with "No we do not do that and no we will not consider it". Then, she is trying to explain why she was asking and was told "hmm ok have a great day! with the click of the hang up. She was crying and couldn't understand why people were like that. We called the 28th street location and within 5 minutes she is getting her cake with only $2 upcharge. My question is why treat a loyal and great customer with such rude, obnoxious and disrespect. Now, she will never return and neither will the 300 guests from her wedding. Maybe all of you should take a lesson and...
Read moreThe cakes are awesome. The service and their 'rules' are not. Yesterday I found out when I picked up an order that I didn't get points because I ordered on line instead of using their app.... no where did I see that I had to use the app to get loyalty points. She told me I can upload the receipt to the app for them to be applied. No thanks. I dont need to take more time and effort when I already paid for their service.
Today I went to get additional ones for the party. Only to find out that to buy a box of a dozen buntinies (the only way they are sold) is to choose one of 2 preselected assortments that are already boxed. In order to get the ones I wanted, I need to come back in 40 minutes. 40 minutes I wasn't planning on and didn't have and wasn't planning on when hosting a party tonight. How hard would it have been for her to pick out 12 of my choosing and put them in a box?
Imagine going to a cupcake specialty shop or a donut shop and being told you can buy this preassortment we have or come back in 30 minutes so we can put 12 in a box for you.
Nothing Bundt Cakes needs some competition so they can focus more on service and what matters...
Read moreWho doesn’t love this place? The cakes are consistently delicious & high quality. This location is always clean & I feel comfortable eating food from this establishment, (I am a germaphobe so that’s a big compliment).
The small “bundtlets” which I usually pick up are only $5 each, they’re not very large but they’re the perfect portion in my opinion. These would make a perfect gift for just about anyone, (teachers, employees, friends, kids, etc).
I have also ordered a few large sized cakes for various occasions & they’ve always been tasty & super cute. Check out their website for the designs. The larger cake attached in my photos is from my birthday this year, & I absolutely loved it.
Also I appreciate the coupons they send out, (you can find the paper coupons in the Valpaks you get in the mail, usually they’ll send out bogo free bundtlets, so 2 bundtlets for only $5!)
For years I’ve always been a huge fan of the white chocolate raspberry flavor, But I also really enjoy the chocolate chocolate chip, the lemon, & the confetti.
Love you guys, please...
