I stopped going here because while I love their fries, the texture my last few visits was like they were warmed up old ones. After a few months I decided to give them another try and just not order the fries. I ordered 2pc wing and breast original with coleslaw. Once I pulled up and paid, I was asked to pull into a parking space and someone would bring my food right out. I get 30 minutes for lunch. Chicken is usually quick but after no one came out with my order for 15 minutes, I got out of my car and went inside. I was informed that someone “should” have told me they were out of original but it’d be done in about 3 minutes and asked if I got my drink yet. I told him no and he handed me a cup to make it myself. I guess I should just be grateful it wasn’t sitting already made and melting down. My paid receipt was generated at 4:28pm. I finally got my food at 4:50 giving me less than 10 minutes to get back to work and eat. You could have told me the wait would be that long or offered the crispy chicken as a substitute or the option to order something else. They threw in a ind mashed potatoes, perhaps as a peace offering but put it on top of my coleslaw making it warm when I went to eat it. The gravy was off, making the gift inedible and the chicken was so greasy it just felt like a wasted $11 as the soda was the only thing decent. Chicken dinner is a 2-3 napkin meal, I saturated 3 napkins and it took 3 more to get my hands dry. Pics are of saturated napkins and wax paper visibly full of grease that was in the box. I usually won’t write a negative review on a restaurant unless I’ve had multiple bad experiences. Save yourself the trouble. Lee’s is superior in service, taste and not being greasy. I will give the crew credit for being humble and apologetic and special thanks to the nice man inside reminding me to not let this ruin my day. While I was clearly upset, I wasn’t throwing a “Karen” tantrum or anything. The man inside just knew my time constraints were stressing me out. Honest reviews are the only way to improve and I really hope y’all do! This was a terrible experience though and I’ll spend my money elsewhere...
Read moreJust started back to getting food from KFC after more than 10 years. The food has been hot, tasty, and properly cooked. The staff is much better, which is one reason I stopped buying KFC. Keep the great staff 👍 👏 and keep cooking the food properly 👍 👌 😀 😋 I will keep coming. Past 2 weeks I've visited 4 times 😊 KFC on Johnson Road, Granite City IL.
Today 31st Dec 2023 I stopped by after Church and I couldn't believe that there were only 2 employees working and they were backed up with window and inside customers who some said they had been waiting over 20 minutes for their already paid receipts. One lady said that she had an emergency at home and just wanted her money back but they employee took too long for her refund so the lady threw her receipt on the counter and said just keep the food that's not ready and my money. Now Kentucky Fried corporate office should notify its restaurants that if there's only 2 employees just close for that day, other customers inside...
Read moreI have a lot of problems placing a to go order, the phone is always busy or just rings off the hook is more of the problem. I went up there a few days ago, afternoon, no one in the drive thru and placed my order, order was slung out the window to me in a hurried fashion. Then I get home and the order is incorrect, why does that not surprise me. I called the home office to let them know what kind of terrible service they are having at this location and I spoke to some foreign CSR and her English was so badly spoken, the call was 18 minutes long then she said she would mail me out a coupon and it would take 10 - 15 days to get it, ha! I know how long it takes to get from Louisville, KY, and then I spoke to a Supervisor Cory, he was more argumentative than anything and lied to me as well. I think Lee's, Church's, Popeye's, anywhere is better than this...
