Hannah's BBQ South — Restaurant in Granite Falls

Dropped in to check out this Hole In The Wall BBQ restaurant. Seat yourself says the sign, so I did. I was promptly waited on and the food to table time was not long. The salad was very good. I ordered the Combo plate. The ribs were good but not a lot of meat on them. I couldn't taste any smoked flavor in the pork. The Baked beans and okra were good. The chicken was very good and very tender. The sauce they brought from the kitchen was delicious. I ordered peach cobbler as well with ice cream. The peaches in the cobbler were excellent. Like fresh picked and not cooked to death. I would return here to sample some brisket next time. Hopefully they smoke the pork...

Though already frustrated with these guys from past experiences, I Tried to place an order to go yesterday, lady answered, TELLS me to hold and immediately hits the hold button, I didn’t mind. I sat holding for 11 minutes. I finally hang up to call back and no one would answer like the phone was placed of the hook. If your that busy how is it efficient to place someone on hold, make them wait like that, and then come back to them instead just taking a 30 second order. Hannah's was suggested to us by a friend who lives in the area. We visit JD's in Valdese on occasion, so our friend knew we like us some brisket. Hannah's was clean and cozy with seat yourself service, the waitress was friendly and helpful with our menu questions. We all ordered the beef brisket sandwich which came out freshly made and in a timely manner. The only drawback is, the brisket wasn't what we were use to!
