Huffy's Sandwiches & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Granite Falls

Huffy's will no longer have any of our buisness. Very unprofessional. They had a group of middle school kids that had came in and being disruptive. Instead of kicking them out or calling the cops that are 200' away to escort them out. The so called manager calls the middle school principal to come kick all the kids out. Now after verbal acknowledgment to me personally that my daughter and her friend were not the ones being disruptive. Just very unprofessional and a principal over stepping boundaries.

As far as I'm concerned I have responsibility of my kid after school hours. Once again this was not a school function. I have talked with the police and from what your management told us when we was there and what the officer told us, your stories don't line up. If the group of kids that was causing the disruption was so bad , why didn't you make them leave or have the officer escort them out? Instead you just caused more problems and drama. Hope your buisness plummets...

So about 6:45 p.m. on. Saturday I went for some huffys ice cream! Walked in a blonde headed rude chick starts turning lights off and says no we were slow todayber are closing. Already in the door and have to be turned away. TERRIBLE customer service over priced menu items. DO NOT GO TO HUFFYS Granite Falls, North Carolina! My previous encounter I ordered takeout, the guy that took the order seemed very unhappy to be working, from answeing with "yupp". 3 stars solely due to how good the food is. Not sure who trains the staff around here but I would recommend teaching the young girls at the counter that it’s rude to just stare customers down when they walk into the restaurant, not acknowledging them or speaking at all. Even when standing directly at the counter, just staring at us. I guess a “hi, how are you” or “what can I get for you” is hard to come by. A smile goes a long way too, if you don’t like speaking to your paying guest. There was one girl who did tell us bye and thanks for coming however so atleast one of the 4 workers...
