Teriyaki Cafe — Restaurant in Granite Falls

We ate here tonight and frankly it was just not great. I got avocado sushi rolls and the avacado was over ripe and mushy, they weren’t rolled well at all and the rice was just meh. My husband got the spicy chicken and he said it was just blah. Not spicy at all and lacking in flavor. The place itself was filthy. The floors were so dirty, the soy sauce container was covered in scum and sticky. It looks like they haven’t cleaned the place in forever. It also had a nasty smell inside and the kids toys, while I appreciate that they had them, turned my daughters hands brown from touching them. They were disgusting. Won’t be returning. Wasn’t the worst food we’ve ever had but...

Um lets just say if your looking for a bad experience then please by all means go here! The first time I tryd this place i thought it was just a cook falling asleep at the grill and burning food was an accident, boy was I wrong! Second go around, it took an hour for my food after being told 10min... So im off to home and what do I find? 3 wrong orders and they shorted me some pot stickers and more burnt food! Shrimp was black and chewy, food just tasted weird compared to other places and to be honest I didnt finish my meal.. There are way to many other teriyaki places that stick with their times told and food that doesn't taste...

I ordered the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu. The teriyaki chicken was great, but the chicken katsu was absolutely the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. I talked to the chef on how he cooked it. He told me he took the frozen chicken and put it directly into the deepfryer for 10 mins, the outside was overdone, but he said the inside was underdone when he cut into it, so he threw it back into the deep fryer to make sure it was cooked.
