Don't bother calling in an order for pickup, whoever runs this Subway doesn't like to fill phone orders until you show up. Its happened to me and one other person I know.
I called in an order for 5 sandwiches. I asked them to be ready in 45 minutes. I show up 45 minutes later and they have not even been started. There is not a single customer in the store to explain any sort of rush they were having. They just don't want to make the sandwiches ahead of time in case I don't show up. So my quick walk-in-walk-out turned into 15 minutes or so. Its not the end of the world but it was rude of them.
Its perfectly fine with me if they have a policy of not making phone orders ahead of time to avoid fraud. Just TELL ME ABOUT IT when I place my order on the phone, i have no problem with it if I know ahead of time.
The young man who made my sandwiches was fast and efficient and made them exactly as he should have. I don't blame him but I do blame whatever management decided on...
Read moreSelection of meat was bad. No chopped steak. Lettuce was brown and whits, I asked for something that had green in it and she just stared at me like a deer in the headlights. I got the LAST 3 pickles. Basically, my Italian herb and cheese STALE roll was a leftover from yesterday. The sandwich just got tossed in the trash. No lunch for me today. This location once was good, but lately, it’s a mess. No one greets you when you come in the door. Sadly, I’ll go back to bringing my own lunch to the office in the future because this Subway on Allen Creek in Grants Pass is lower than substandard! Seriously, when I asked for more pickles and green lettuce, they wouldn’t bother to go in the back to restock! It appeared they were about out of everything.. it’s no wonder they now cover the meat section with that new stainless steel cover so you can’t see what you are ordering. And yes, I’ve been a customer for YEARS...
Read moreApparently it’s a thing to advertise $4.99 footlong subs, yet charge the regular price! I went to pay and told the employee Samantha that I was overcharged. She said that their particular Subway does not honor the $4.99 subs. Dumbfounded, I pointed out that the Spicy Italian was advertised as 4.99, and she said that the computer decides what to charge, not the price on the sign. At that point I told her that if they were not going to honor the Corporate Deal, she should have told me when I ordered the sandwich, which she replied to me that she didn’t know which ones were priced 4.99. I am at a loss! How is this not illegal to advertise one price and not honor it? And at the very least it’s so unethical to not tell the customer as they order their food? It seems silly to be this upset over $1.69, but, it’s principle for me, not $1.69. Never again will I visit Allen Creek...
