Alfie’s Granville — Restaurant in Granville Township

I really don't write reviews but I feel I should say something since this is the second time it's happened and no resolution. I am pretty much known as the girl who orders a double pbj sandwich. I love this sandwich! The best ingredients with the granola for crunch. Yum! The last two times however have been very poor. The first time the granola was missing so I called and left a message. Not any callback. One time thing no big deal. Today I came in they already knew my order. I always order to go so I get back to work excited for my double pbj sandwich and I unwrap to find the lackluster sandwich that I paid double filling for. (Photo below with a couple bites out because I paid for it so I'm going to eat it) Also no granola again. I called as soon as I saw this. Healthier option for the average eater in Granville, so that is good. But, as with many other restaurants it has really gone downhill in quality.

I used to love the kale salad and the happy tummy salad, but the last few times I have gone to Alfie's, these dishes were not good at all.

The kale salad was LITERALLY a container of plain, unseasoned bruised kale. Gone were the dressing and the chopped dates and the sunflower seeds.

The happy tummy salad is smaller- ok, I get it- inflation- but the spinach was DISGUSTING. It was not cleaned at all, full of rotted slimy pieces dispersed throughout. Other ingredients are extremely sparse.

Peanut butter veggie sandwich is another one I used to like but is now basically nothing more than an extremely tough little baguette with a schmear of peanut butter.

Ownership apparently changed at same point, so maybe that explains the decline in quality?

One of the best experiences that I have had in a long time! One of the managers was working when we visited, I wish I could recall his name but he made our visit to Alfie’s wonderful from the second my little and I walked in. He offered to let my very picky eater, try anything he wanted and actually got him to try something new to him. The food was so delicious! I tried the broccoli salad, kale salad and Parmesan Pasta, it’s a special that allows you to have a small portion of several items. The kale salad was my favorite!
