Absolutely, worst customer service ever!! Second time trying this place out after a so, so first visit. Just my husband and I, our waitress was Natalie who needs to grow up. She was ok got us drinks, food etc... All the normal stuff but never checked in on us again. No drink refills, didnāt ask if my husband wanted another margarita, nothing. She walk by our table no less than 20 times helping other waitresses clear tables and never said a word to us. She brought the check and then again she ever came by to see if we were ready to pay. Finally she got the check, we paid, and left. It was a nice night so we walked around the downtown area. As we were approaching our car she came out of the restaurant and yelled āThanks for the Tip!!ā I couldnāt believe my ears! Did she really just do that? Because the tip we left was more than generous for the service we received, which now thinking about it maybe we shouldnāt have. I immediately went back into the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. Natalie approaches me and asked what I wanted and again I said I needed to speak to a manager because tips are earned not given. She tried to argue with me and called me a liar because she is one mature individual. I explained to her manager what happened she apologized tried to offer me a gift card to which I declined as we will never step foot in this place again. The maturity level of their staff is unbelievable. Natalie sweet heart you should be happy with any amount of tip given because they are earned not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give this place a -100 I would. This place was a disaster in more than one way.
First the staff-There was a concert going on and some of the staff were running in and out back and forth, in and out the kitchen with the same jackets they wore oustde. Made drinks coming from outside with no gloves, still putting straws in people glasses. WTH!! That is so unsanitary! Just being in the kitchen with standing germs. DISGUSTING!!
Sad part is that the manager who sat the whole time like he was on a date saw everything that was going on and did NOTHING. I expressed my utter disappointment to my waiter who really did nothing. The culture at the place has unsanitary written all over it!!
Food-Fresh with absolutely no taste. There was absolutely nothing to write home about with this place. Oh and due to the running in and out the flies were plentiful and landed right on my beans! NICE.
Drinks-BOO. Doesn't deserve an $8 price tag. So exaggerated. No alcohol whatsoever!!
WOULD I EVER RETURN? H! NO! NOR RECOMMEND. I am an advit Mexican lover and was hoping this place was great by some of the reviews. That was definitely not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first visit to Day Y Noche was on 11/25. I was pleasantly surprised. After living in California, traveling to Arizona and New Mexico and dining on some of the most authentic and high quality Mexican food I was impressed for Central Ohio. I had a cup of Chicken Tortilla soup and this ranked high in one of the most flavorful cream based chicken tortilla soup I have eaten. My main dish was chicken Fajitas. The best part of my main dish meal was the rice, it was delicious. However, the fajitas themselves were lacking. While I was given 3 warm tortillas for creating my fajita, the amount of meat for the entire dish at best was 1 oz. ( I'm not exaggerating)Think a slice of bologna sliced into 6 bites and that was the portion of meat provided among the hot skillet of peppers and onions. I would go back for a bowl of the chicken corn tortillas soup and willing to try another dish but the portion size of the lunch Fajitas with a $9.29 price tag was a...
