Village Coffee Company — Restaurant in Granville Township

I don’t get what’s up with the “TBC” it’s turkey, bacon, cheddar. I’ve ordered it 4 times and only once has the order been completely right.

I think they need to change the name to a turkey BLT because every single time they either give me a breakfast sandwich with egg or they ask me first if it’s a breakfast sandwich and I say “no, it’s the TBC, this one” and point to the sign so they know.

Liiiiiiiiisten, I’m not generally a complainer- but it’s getting a little wild here. Today I ordered the “turkey bacon cheddar on gluten free bread” and they gave me a sandwich with egg, cheese, and turkey.

I went up and I said “hey sorry, this is supposed to be a turkey bacon cheddar” They said “is that a breakfast sandwich?” I said “no it’s a cold sandwich” And they said “what’s on it?” And I said “turkey, bacon, and cheddar, and light mayo please”

And…. I didn’t expect it but the sandwich I got back was JUST turkey, bacon, cheddar, and light mayo. No lettuce, no tomato.

I just think maybe the name on the menu needs to change because it’s a turkey BLT and the name is really confusing for staff and then they’re confused and I’m disappointed. I think we gotta make it easier on both parties because ya girl just wants a...

I really enjoy Village Coffee Company! It’s a cozy little family run shop with a really good product! I think that they have the best drip coffee and cold brew in town! It’s not the type of coffee that you will find in a big city with high acidity, tasting notes of exotic fruits, and comes from an expensive and fancy contraption…it’s just good, straight forward coffee. I also like that they offer a flavored drip coffee every day. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, lunch items, desserts, and baked goods so there is something there for everyone! The bagels are generic and not like an authentic NY style bagel but they are still really good! The owners and servers are all incredibly nice and willing to assist! There are regulars in there every day and you know it’s because they are getting great service and a great product! There is indoor and outdoor seating which is perfect for whatever the weather in Ohio decides to do that day. Was there for lunch today shortly after noon. Because of the rude lady behind the counter, we won’t be back. Ordered 2 salads, listed on their menu board (which doesn’t list salad ingredients), as Turkey avocado. We were told they didn’t have any in the case so we would have to wait. No problem. However, when we returned to get the salads the Turkey avocado salad had a big pile of bacon. I don’t eat pork, so asked if it, in fact, was bacon. Was told yes, they came with bacon, like a club sandwich. So I stated that the menu board doesn’t state “club”, so how would one know it came with bacon. Was told I should have asked!!!! I should have immediately asked for a refund and left. Will never go back and have told everyone about how rude the staff was.
