So for a country town like greeley, I thought we had about as good of Indian restaurant as we could get....Until....

BHANSA!

The basic atmosphere definatley doesn't say anything about the quality of the food! The dishes we tried could were so good and could definatley stand up against any Indian restaurant in Denver!

We mostly ordered appetizers, so that we could try a bunch of different things....

The Pandi Puri balls were so tasty....the water was fresh and delicious!

Next the Onion Pakura....nicely fried with a cilantro sauce and sweet tamarind!

Papdi Chaat....probably our favorite dish of the evening! It was like Indian Nachos! Crispy fried Indian bread topped with chickpea curry, yogurt, tamarind and cilantro.....interesting and INCREDIBLE!

Alu Gobi was last....it came with saffron rice! This was very good!

We also had a Mango and Rose Lassi...cool, refreshing and oh so good!

Our only minor issue was we ordered medium spicy, and compared to other similar restaurants I'd personally say it was pretty mild....we will just order hot next time!

3 appetizers, 1 gravy dish, 2 lassi's with tip was 40$.....very affordable! We even took some home there was plenty!

I can't wait to return and try other things on the menu....there was a sweet date stuffed Naan that I am VERY...

I am editing my previous review of this restaurant. Wow is all I have to say about this place, but for all the wrong reasons. This place was our favorite Indian/Nepalese restaurant until today. My wife and I decided to make the hour drive from Loveland like we usually do and wish we wouldn't have wasted our time driving in today. The food was horrible. The chicken masala was brutally nasty and disgusting. The honey chicken curry was just o.k. They served us what looked to be leftover rice and the garlic naan looked to be leftover as well. What a waste of 50 bucks!!! Needless to say, we won't be back. Hope we don't get sick! Where were the dad, son and family that usually works and provide such good service and food today? If you are going to be open, better make sure you have good people working who's going to pay attention to details! I usually don't take the time to leave bad reviews but feel that the owners should know that they lost a good customer today! Good luck with your restaurant. We will be going somewhere else closer to home...

This place is absolutely fantastic, really no other words need to be said. My girlfriend and I have been here multiple times and we make it a point to go here whenever we are in the area. The food is miles above any other Indian restaurant we have tried in all of northern Colorado, it is borderline addicting. The service is also fantastic, they are willing to accommodate you in any way possible to make your dining experience exceptional. We started at a table in the middle of the restaurant which was no problem at all, but we were asked right as our waters came out if we would like to move to a more comfortable and spacious booth without even asking. If you need a refill or need some napkins, they are there within 60 seconds. HUGE kudos to the young man who is not only the main server, but bartender, occasional cook, busser, host, he really does it all and he is exceptional at his job and really makes this place shine. Give him a big tip if you go, he deserves it! Go to Bhansa and keep going, this place deserves every bit of success...

Wife and I wanted to sample some Indian food and saw this restaurant on our Google search with a 4.8 rating. Oh yeah! So we headed there. We were greeted and seated by a gentleman who was behind the bar. There's maybe 8 others in the restaurant. After a few minutes we realized the bar guy was also the server... The only server. Not long after we entered, the restaurant suddenly became crowded with people entering in. The poor guy was frantically running around with no time to waste. A table behind us was left with dirty dishes the whole hour we were there. He didn't have a minute to clean the tables. He did his best but it was an overmatched situation. We ordered lamb but instead got chicken. Our rice arrived cold and was sent back. The experience was not a good one for us but honestly felt sorry for our server/bartender/busser, the only person in the restaurant serving about 10 tables. Maybe hire someone to help. The food was okay, not great.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time because of all the great reviews and tasty-looking pictures I've seen. I went in with high expectations, and it did not disappoint. From the presentation to the taste, everything was phenomenal. I ordered the mildly spicy tandoori chicken, which was bursting with flavor. It wasn't too spicy for me, as I have a decent spice tolerance, but if you can handle spicy food, I would recommend going up a notch. My mother ordered steamed chicken momo dumplings, which came with a delicious chutney dipping sauce. We also had a side of house-made garlic naan, which was perfect for sharing between the two of us. This place definitely lived up to the hype, and I’m looking forward to returning to try more items on the menu.
