I waited to rate this place because I didn’t want to leave a bad review… but also think my experience needs to be noted. First let me start by saying that I am spoiled, I am from Houston which has one of the most diverse and authentic Mexican and Tex Mex food. I also get really great Mexican food from my mom so I am a little bias. I just can’t recommend this place. The caldo de camarón - I have never in my life seen broccoli 🥦 in the caldo. Literally that is all it had broccoli and shrimp. Even the caldo was like water down. I ate it because I was hungry and paid close to $20 bucks for this. My hubby had the Chile relleno and I was taken back when the menu online said a different price and then got charged like 25 bucks for them. He says they were good but I don’t trust him. He literally eats anything and dumps a whole bottle of hot sauce. The only good thing was the beans. Maybe just order beans, but I am sure they will charge you an arm and a leg. Don’t get me wrong I am okay with paying $30/plate if it’s gourmet and delicious… this was not one or the other. This was not our first time in however since the remodel we decided to go back and the first seat they sat us in a broken booth my Grandfather almost fell, then moved us to a table that was dirty and took 10 minutes to wipe off. We got our menus and it then took another 20 minutes to get drinks, which the coffee was instant because their coffee pot was broken. We finally were able to order and considering there was only 1 other table we thought it would be quicker but it took another 45 minutes to get 3 simple plates of food that were cold and also not what we ordered. If I could this place ZERO stars I would. ME and my family pulled in the parking lot on the assumption this place was closer because it was so empty. We walked in to yet another empty room, no one around. We rang the bell and we were greeted and seated. We were brought chips that were not fully cooked, and when we asked if we could have a fresh basket, mind you, we approached the server incredibly polite and know what we were told? we were told NO. we thought we would give this place a chance because the reviews seemed OK but we were SO WRONG. your customers tell you the chips you served are UNCOOKED and chewy and request new ones and you say no? We were shocked. No wonder this place was empty!...
