Fonta's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Greeley

Went to Fonta's for the 4th or 5th time within the last couple of month and the food was always good and the waitress very nice and helpful but today we were extremely offended by the manager and specially the owner, ordered the Gyro sandwich who comes with a choice of side between fries,spaghetti or something else included in the $7.95 price of the sandwich and as the menu reads you can "Add an onion ring or a Greek salad for $1.00" so I ordered the sandwich with the free side of spaghetti and the extra $1.00 side Greek salad, after all done get the bill and they charged me $7.95 for the sandwich plus $1.00 for the Greek salad and $3.50 for the spaghetti, get with the manager and he said, it's the price and that the menu is written wrong explained that I should not be penalized pay for something that it's their fault but the manager said it would cost too much to have new menu printed, explained that I should not have to pay for an extra $3.50 then the manager told me that the best he could do is wave $1.00, after explaining to the manager that I would pay the whole thing and he could keep the dollar but would not come back to their restaurant he finally said he would call the owner, after a few minutes the manager said that the owner did not care and the bill was the bill no discount!!!! WOW so you advertise at a certain price and give me a tab at the price YOU see fit because you are too cheap and lazy to have your menu corrected, told you that I will not come back but I'll make sure you loose more than $3.50. Greedy...

Great food only problem was the service tje waitress was worst ever ordered 3 waters then got the bill was charged for 3 softdrinks. No big deal these mistakes happen right? Went to go pay then the waitress argued over the drinks basically said i was a liar and even after another guy said it's fine she said well they had a kids drink I know that. Never coming back and telling all my friends and family not too either! I been coming here for 20 years and to have a waitress be so rude to me and then basically say im a liar over her mistake is unacceptable. I saw her struggling with other tables and other customers were getting frustrated i get it but being rude is not how you make things right.

You are missing the point troy i will say your manager did an excellent job and brought out my ticket for me, but where im from the waitress doesn't argue with customers . If there is a problem they go get the manager. Furthermore you sir did not seem too happy to take the drinks off my ticket. If i have to say let me go get the drinks and show you they are water then at that point it becomes an issue. If you would have said im really sorry about that and i did not have to plead my case I would have given...

I've come to or ordered from Fonta's on & off for over 20 years, but this was the first time I ordered something other than pizza, and boy! am I glad I did! This was probably the best gyro I've ever had, and I really appreciated that they put the tzatziki sauce on the side (when other restaurants put a ton of it on the gyro, it way too messy)! My wife & our friend both had calzones agreed that it was even better than Roma!

Update: Just went in again the other day and got a pepperoni calzone, which was at least as good as Roma. It seemed a little small compared to my friend's, but I didn't say anything. However, one of the staff also noticed. I don't know if it was our server or the manager who noticed, but without any prompting from my part, the manager came to me and said he was making me another one complimentary. I had to wait until the next night to enjoy that one, but I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find the new one absolutely packed with pepperoni! I'm really impressed by Fonta's attention to detail and their exceptional customer service! Only problem was I had to do a few extra miles on the exercise bike to burn it off, but...
