1st time there, for the "Rockies Taco Special." This was the only time EVER that I was the only one in the drive-through! Response was quick, and very friendly. No pushing to buy anything else than the special ($2 for 4 crunchy tacos). The tacos were hot, crunchy shells, and twice the amount of meat than at any other Taco Bell I've EVER been to. Make sure to ask for your sauce, and extra napkins, because the kids that work there sometimes forget to ask. This Taco Bell is highly recommended.
Update: now 2 stars. It should be 1 star, but they did so well the last time I was there, and it's not the employee's fault. Now, today, and 2 days ago, it was an example of as bad as management can get. Two days ago, the drive through was backed up with about 10 or more cars. After 15 minutes (not exaggerating), not one car had moved. People were getting out of the drive through, if they weren't trapped, and leaving. People in the store were walking out with no bags of food, and every customer was madder than **. I went in and wanted to know why no customers were being served, and they said they "were understaffed, and only had 4 employees there." Today, same thing, except there were more employees, but still slower than with 4! It isn't the employee's fault, but the apparently apathetic store manager, who should have been there to help. This place is highly NOT recommended, at least until they get their act together and fire the manager.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Now up to 3 stars, because the eternal suffering from waiting wasn't as bad as the last 2 times, but they have a LONG way to go with service time before I would give it 5 stars again. It still seems to have apathetic and absent managers, stranding their understaffed employees, who are doing the best they can. 3 stars because I got lucky, AND the crew members were very friendly, and the portions are generous for a Taco Bell. I got lucky with the drive-through, because it didn't have 10 other cars waiting around, and wondering if they EVER would get served and move. This time, I was number 4 in line. I STILL waited at least 20 minutes, and they didn't look that busy to me. Friendly crew and good quality food service, but terrible waiting time, unless you have absolutely nothing else to do. I suggest that you go about 3 miles away to the Taco Bell on US 34 and 35th street. That one is a 5-star, exemplary, great Taco Bell, in every respect, no matter how busy they are.
4th update: Improvements made. Now 4 stars based only on my last visit. The drive through looked slow, so I went inside. Although they were moderately busy, they took my order at the counter within about 2 minutes, and my wait time for my order was only about 3 minutes. The tacos were good. No complaints this time, and on the way out (carry out) I noticed that the drive through line was now empty from fast service. They had 8-10 crew, which made a noticeable improvement. Next question. Can they maintain...
Read moreI've had plenty of bad experiences at this taco bell, but none of them bad enough to actually write about. Tonight changed that for sure! I ordered two nacho fries boxes and I only got one thing of fries. The doors are locked, so I couldn't walk in to talk to that so I decided to walk up to the window to get my fries. The gentleman in the window was kind, but then the manager (Brandon) decided to be a very unpleasant person and cut him off to tell me I had to go through the drive though again. For real??? Even though THEY messed up my order I have to sit in the line for another 20 minutes just to get what I paid for? 🤔 I waited in the line for the twenty minutes just to get to the speaker box, and Brandon asked for my name to look up "in the book," and told me my name wasn't in it, so he couldn't help me. The line took so long the second time he didn't even remember me and reacted by telling me he couldn't help me.... With ONE thing of fries that THEY forgot. I continued to talk to him for a few minutes until he decided to give me the fries I paid for. I understand it is a difficult time for everyone right now, and I personally have worked at taco bell, so I know what they experience, but I shouldn't be treated poorly after my order is messed up. I wish I had asked for the name of the guy in the window because he was very kind and deserves recognition, but Brandon needs to get his panties out of a twist. They say you are what you eat, so Brandon needs to stop eating Krabby...
Read moreDo not give this location your business. I placed an online order at around 6:45. Arrived at the store around 7:01 sat till 7:35. At which point I went up to the counter and asked one of the employees to please cancel my order so that I could leave. They went and informed the shift manager of my wishes. The shift manager comes from the back and starts out being arrgressive talking about how busy they are. I told him once again I would like to cancel the order 45 minutes is to long of a wait. He said your order is ready do you want it or do you want to cancel it and tried to hand me the bag of food. I looked in the bag. It only had 3 of my 5 items in it. I told him so and he precceed to get even more angry saying how he would remake it for the little bi*ch. I asked for his name and a number for the manager which he refused to give. The next day i set an appointment the meet with their manager the following day. I went to meet with him while I was admittedly still angry at the situation. Only to be told he could or would do nothing about the employee. A note in their file means nothing to me. Reaching out to corporate Not entirely sure why you would defend and employee like this. Seems like nepotism. In the end I received no food and did not get...
