Gone are the days where it was cool to enjoy both restaurant establishments in one visit! Iâve been visiting Wing shack and Empire State pizza since I was a kid. Today our dinner was Wing Shack but we wanted to still play games so we headed over. Walked in and received no greeting. After sitting down on a dirty table, we were so excited and happy. Only to be interrupted by a very rude and unprofessional elder. Yelling at us. In total he yelled at three separate customers all doing the same thing. One family was actually eating wings and pizza. We brought in our leftovers and drinks and the last family ate pizza while waiting for wings. As soon as he saw a customer heâd jump down there throat. To one gentleman he literally threaten to call the cops. And went to the back to actually call the cops. Like cops donât have more important dealings to deal with than come chase out a paying customer wanting to enjoy wings and pizza. I understand the reason but what you donât do is create a problem because of a problem. Maybe posting a sign on the front door would be much easier. After observed behavior of the grown elder, I can say that Iâm glad to have only spent $1 in your establishment, and I wonât be back. It would be nice for you to see how your actions pushed customers away instead of bringing repeat business in. How much business do you really get after the way you treat...
Read moreFirst impression left me unimpressed.
First time visiting this local pizza shop. Was excited to try their NY style slices, so ordered two of their different specialty pies. When I ordered I was one of only a few people inside as well as visible tickets that I could see. I was quoted 20-25 minutes for time. AWESOME, beat the dinner rush.
After about 45/50 min an employee saw me visibly upset and looking at the pizza cook, asked me sir are you waiting for an order? I said yes and stated my name. I then began to see him and others scurry to get what I assume was my order made, so I thought. The same gentleman grabbed a 25% off card and offered his apologies for the delay. Appreciated.
Another 20 minutes go by and I ask the time on my order and was quoted 2 minutes or so longer. It took another 10+ minutes to receive my pies. I wanted to wait to try the pies before giving an honest review.
The pies themselves were HUGE. Good resemblance to NY style slices. The overall of the pie experience was soggy and greasy. No crunch. Not worth waiting almost an hour and half to be disappointed.
Maybe just an off...
Read moreHorrible experience. Pizza was made wrong. Wing order was made wrong. Wings donât come with dipping sauce, thatâs extra. Biggest problem was that I ordered gluten free crust and was served regular crust, which I ate. When we talked to the manager, we were given 2 coupons for 25% off our next visit (but they canât be used together) and I was told âI hope youâre okayâ, and they remade the gluten free pizza. No offer to refund, no offer to discount the bill. The incorrect wing order took 30 mins to correct. The gluten free pizza remake took almost 40 mins. In fact, when I went to ask how much longer on the remake, the cook said, âOh, itâs been readyâŠitâs up there.â Cool. All of the issues alone are frustrating, but the gluten issue is a big deal. I get to spend the next couple of days sick because someone didnât pay attention. There were 10 of us in our party, and between food, drinks, and games, we spent close to $200. Shame on you, EmpireâŠyou could have done better making this situation right. We wonât be back. I get mistakes happen, and we give grace for that, but no real effort was made to rectify...
