Cheri's Place — Restaurant in Green Bay

I can’t speak on the food nor the atmosphere of the business but I can speak on whom I can only believe is the owner. They adopt families at Christmas which I think is great. I had shared my families story with them. They asked for ages and names, and asked if I could pick gifts up if needed. Now, we never received a message saying we were not picked. A video was posted boasting about all these unwrapped toys for the families. Again, because we were not told we weren’t picked not chosen we assumed that our family was part of that. I reached out and was then told that families had been picked. But again we’d never been notified about that. I expressed that communication could have been better and that seeing the video was a punch to the gut. I mentioned that I was happy other families were able to be helped, but that the lack of communication was disappointing. I then received a message back from the owner saying I should be “ashamed” of myself. And that my message was “mean” and it was not meant to be mean. I tried to clear that up and explain that I had no ill intentions, that the lack of communication was simply disappointing, but I couldn’t reply back because they had blocked me. I would’ve been happy to check this establishment out, and I thought the adopting families was a very kind thing to do, but the way I was treated by the owner, I don’t think I will be checking this establishment out anymore. I never really thought about going to Cheri's Place for a while until about one month ago because it was on the way home. It's a little small as a bar, but I love it because it is very affordable and if I needed to walk home, it's just a 30 minute walk.

The pizza I had is simply a Hydrant Supreme Pizza. Nothing unique for the restaurant but I can't complain because their brand alone is delicious with a Miller Lite.

No it's not fancy like a brewpub or bar & grill but if you're looking to have fun on the cheap, Cheri's Place is just right. The bartender is very fun and outgoing too so it what gives the place charm. Also, if you need a place to play pool, they got two pool tables!

Cheri always goes out of her way to make every person that walks through the door at Cheri's Place feel welcome! The beers are cold, drinks perfect, pool tables and dart boards to help get your extra energy spent!
