Party Line Tavern — Restaurant in Green Bay

Went there on Halloween with friends to do karaoke. The bar was not very busy and the bathroom was clean so we were looking forward to singing a song. My husband went to hand the older female bartender his ID and she was unable to preform simple math, or maybe it was that she forget her bifocals that day, but she proceeded to tell us we were not of age. To our shock, my husband responded, we were (we are all 24), she continued to say we were not of age while holding our IDs in her hand. My husband eventually just snatched them from her and we left. It felt as though she just did not want us there even though we had just walked in and were having a friendly conversation with some patrons at the bar. It’s very concerning you have a bartender who can’t read or do math, making drinks and taking peoples money. But I guess we are giving jobs to anyone these days. Do not recommend to anyone under the age of 30. Worst service I’ve ever had...

Myself and three friends went here for Halloween because we wanted to sing karaoke. We got settled in, went up to the bar where we were told that we needed to be 21 to be in the bar. This was not a problem because we are all 24, have been going to bars and getting into bars since we were 21, and never had a problem. The bartender demanded to see our IDs and once again, after looking at them said we needed to be 21 to be in here. We exclaimed that we were, and were very confused as to why this was an issue. Moral of the story, she refused to serve us so we just left. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure if the bartender is just that stupid/illiterate, or if she was having a bad night. Either way, this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in Green Bay. Service was lousy, ended up leaving before we even got served. The average age of the patrons had to be around 107 which did not exactly give the place an inviting vibe. Stopped there on a whim because it was right on Mason St. Regretted it basically the second we walked in the door. If you're looking for a youthful, active scene this is not the place for you.
