Cock & Bull Publick House — Restaurant in Green Bay

Drink specials are great, however it's hard to get a drink if you don't personally know one of the bartenders... there have been times that I've sat with an empty glass for 10+ minutes while the bartender was down at the other end of the bar talking (not making drinks, just talking). There was even a time when I was there with 4 other friends and all 5 of our glasses were empty on the rail for over 10 minutes (keep in mind the bar was not full, or even half full for that matter), so we decided to leave and give take our business elsewhere. I've given this place a several chances to change my mind, thinking that maybe it was just one or two bad bartenders. But every time I've gone it's the same situation with each bartender I've had. I drink simple rum and cokes, and as a former bartender/server I tip a dollar + for every drink I get (regardless of the service), so you'd think that I'd be someone you'd want to make sure the glass is full for. It's a great location with a great atmosphere, but I refuse to go to a place where I'm ignored because I'm not friends...

I don’t know who’s in charge of hiring of this establishment but they need a harsh reality check if the current bartender “Sierra” I believe is her name is bartending. I don’t even think she has any knowledge whatsoever even to make a water. After seeing her in every bar in Green Bay always plastered to waiting 30 minutes for a mixed drink she clearly did not know how to make (a MOSCOW MULE) if this is an establishment that allows people like THIS behind the bar to represent their business I just see it as a bar that doesn’t care. She seems more interested in receiving male attention than she does making drinks and consistently avoided my girlfriend and I because we couldn’t provide her the attention she desired. Left a bad taste in my mouth and will never be back and will be telling my Green Bay friends as well. So sad this place used to be a staple for me to stop in that used to be always a fun time but clearly the current staff is an embarrassment to what was. Will...

This place boasts an amazing beer selection, a nice looking bar, and a variety of bar games (pool, shuffleboard, and darts). Sadly it also boasts a wide variety of douchebags.

I'm generally not very judgemental, but as much as I'd like to cut these guys some slack, I just can't get over the fact that every time I walk into the place I feel like I'm walking into a college party that's one Jager Bomb away from erupting into a brawl.

I'll admit, I'm probably not their target audience, but maybe drop the facade of having a million different bottles of beer and just admit you're a drunk...
