Tequilas Mexican Bar & Restaurant LLC — Restaurant in Green Bay

I was excited to try this restaurant as I loved the previous restaurant. Mostly I loved the atmosphere, but the CCQ was to die for. Walked in and was happy to see it wasn't super bright like I was expecting. They did paint the walls white and it was definitely brighter than Los, but not obnoxious. And the bar was basically the same as before in terms of seating. Had a basket of chips that were inedible because they tasted stale or tasted like old oil. We asked for a new basket. Same thing-no one at our table could eat them. Got to our table and they brought out two more baskets and we had to have them take them off the table because the smell of rancid oil was overwhelming. I will say that my Quesabirrias were pretty good. My husband said his burrito was subpar. Not sure that the others loved their meals but everyone agreed that we wouldn't be returning. Chips and salsa - No salt on chips. They give you a trio of salsas. The chunky one is jicama, cucumbers, tomatoes and pineapples. It was unique and fresh. The red salsa was a mild salsa with good flavor. The darker of the salsas was a little spicier with good flavor - 4

Lime Margarita on the rocks - smaller in size but good. The margarita was half off today- 3

Steak taco: Flavor - 3 Fullness - 2 it was inconsistent between tacos. Appearance - 3 the meat was very fatty

Chicken taco: Flavor - 4 Fullness - 3 Appearance - 3

Service - our server was nice. Food came out correct and fast - 4

Loved everything about the dinner we got to enjoy as friends and family. Everyone got what they wanted, a very satisfying meal all around, and we all left with a comfortable feeling upon ourselves. 6pm on a Friday night wasn't to busy yet and loved that the bar is on the other side however with the amount of adolescents with us I was surprised we were seated so close to the bar and not in the dinning area with our group of 2 adults & 5 teens. Doesn't matter really bc the noise was over there and we were busy with our conversations and food ourselves we didn't even notice it till towards the end of our evening. One of the few places I will return to eat at. Cleanliness was on point and every employee was welcoming and polite.
