Update: It was my daughter's birthday and I needed to feed about 8 adults. Of course I waited to the last minute to order a decent amout of pizzas. I called Uncle Leos, explained I needed about 6 pies in about an hour. Maria was so accommodating, I explained what my concerns were from the last time. She assured me that it would not be an issue and she was right! The pizza was perfectly cooked, the salad was delicious, and the customer service was outstanding! Thanks Maria and Uncle Leos, you saved me and her little party was a success! We ordered from here based on all the reviews, 1st mistake. We ordered 2 Large pizzas and a DELUXE chef salad, it was a Friday night and we had to wait an hour for the delivery, that I understand. What I don't understand is how they can call the salad a DELUXE when it was nothing but a pile of iceberg with 2 grape tomatoes, a slice of ham, slice of salami and 5 croutons. The homemade Mayfair dressing tasted like spoiled ceasar dressing. The pizza was burnt, now I get it is St Louis style, which is basically cheese on a cracker but this was more like burnt cheese on double baked extra crispy water cracker. Even the drunk wouldn't eat it! It was a $50 lesson learned.

The South Country, St. Louis area has some steep competition. There are numerous top quality pizza restaurants to choose from and among the best Uncle Leo’s has to be considered a contender. Light, airy crust with enough substance to hold to the toppings but still light and flaky. That crisp crunch is fantastic!!! St. Louis provel cheese and a delicious sauce that is not overly sweet and well balanced. We had a bacon pie and a sausage, both were cooked perfectly and quite tasty, couldn’t pick a best between them. Notice the box and liner, this is definitely not a greasy pizza. We also chose an order of Spinocci; wontons filled with a delicious Spinach Artichoke Dip and the accompanying homemade pepper jelly was a perfect complement. Great staff, priced appropriately and will definitely be back.

The pizza is great and the staff is friendly and the pizza is fresh, hot, and cooked pretty quickly. We last had Marianne's Marghareta pizza. It was flavorful and not heavy. We probably ate too much but the flavors were enticing...maybe addictive. Oddly at the end of a long weekend they were short on mozzarella cheese, so they called to check if adding provolone was acceptable. I said yes and wow, an accident recipe resulted in a super great cheese combo layer...nice to know...may ask for that again. Oh, their prices are reasonable and they usually have coupons in the weekly mailer sent to the community. Check them out! Oh, we ate a lot before I stopped to get a photo...but now you see a nice profile view and proof that a bunch of it at least left the package!

I ordered a carry out pizza here on Saturday night at 8:30 pm, and upon arriving to pick up my pizza I encountered 6 or 7 older people sitting in the waiting area. They proceeded to laugh loudly when I said my name was Joe to pick up my order. They told me not to take it personally, they were just playing a game and guessing peoples names before they walk in. I thought to myself this is weird as hell, but just paid for my pizza and kept my head down.

They then mockingly said ‘byyyeeee Joe!’ When I left and laughed more at me. I shook my head on the way out, in disbelief… and one old guy said ‘hey he’s shaking his head!!!’ And they all laughed even louder.

The pizza was fine. Above average. But seriously what in the world was that pickup experience? I’ve never had to walk through a peanut gallery to get a carry out order in my life. Very bizarre and uncomfortable experience. I can’t believe the owner would allow that to happen to people paying money at their business. Literally the worst pick up experience I’ve ever had anywhere.

What were these people doing? They were not eating. Is this how retired folk in south county spend their Saturday nights? Never seen anything like it. May...

My husband and I ordered a burger, wings and toasted rav. We were quoted 45-60 min for delivery and ended up receiving our food after 90 minutes. I had to call after 70 min to check on the status of the order and the lady who answered barely offered an apology for the wait and said they were just waiting on wings. The burger was cooked correctly but was EXTREMELY bland and under seasoned. The wing sauce was also WAY too sweet. I requested extra, extra pickles with my burger (since I'm pregnant) and I did not receive this either. The toasted rav was fine, but nothing special to differentiate it from any other company's toasted rav. If the food wasn't so disappointing, it would have been worth the extra 30 min wait but this definitely wasn't the case. I've had their pizza in the past and, although I personally wasn't a fan, my husband and daughter enjoyed it. If we decide to order from here again, I'll make sure to only...
