The Fluttering Duck — Restaurant in Greencastle

I ordered a steak (35$), Shrimp and Sausage Creole + sides (20$). Total should be around 65 (including tip). When I request the bill, I didn't get a copy of my receipt, which was weird. My friend and I split the bill. She paid 12$ on her card, so I should be paying 53$, but when I look at my transaction, I got charged 63.35$. Went to dispute with the employee there, and they tried to find my receipt at first, but when they couldn't and I started to explain what was on my bill, they said they don't understand what I'm talking about and that they want to wrap this up, and insist that I paid the extra money that I got charged. First, it is a hotel restaraunt if that tells you anything. 2nd -been twice and no reason to go back. 1st trip had a ribeye and shrimp and the ribeye was ribeye- sandwich-thin and cooked med-well when asked for med-rare. Wife had fish and chips she said was nothing towrite home about. 3rd- no communication. Took 20 minutes for the kitchen to let the server know they were out of a steak a friend ordered, one friends steak was cold, and a soup came with meal for one and another's early with salads while salad for another came so late he had a few bites before the meal showed up. All that said, the appetizers were all good and the duckling and tenderloin sandwiches were tastey. If you go, $29+ steaks are not worth it...stick with appetizers...

We ordered Pizza and the sausage had a terrible taste and the pineapple was almost invisible there was so little. Chicken tenders tasted like they pulled them out of the freezer and fried them up. The food was just ok but that was not the biggest problem. There were two men that appeared to be workers for the restaurant sitting at a table near us playing dominios, Not a terrible thing, but they were clacking the domino's on the table and making ALOT of noise. Didn't seem to bother them but it was very annoying to us.0 Sure they had to have overheard us making comments hoping they would get the point. They seemed to get louder and more annoying as time went on. Not impressed with the menu...
