I've wanted to try this place out several times. I've eaten here once before. Depressedly unimpressed. I had actually waited 2-3 years to return as I was very disappointed last time as well.I would like to offer my thoughts on all aspects. First off is the building and interior. Everything is clean and orderly. I don't care for the parking lot because it's so close in the spaces. I didn't visit the restroom area on this particular but it was clean and stocked last time. The place is packed at lunch all of the time. The service is the second thing I would like to touch on. I noticed someone said they don't coddle newcomers but a greeting instead of waiting for 5 to 10 minutes before even being asked what we would like to drink would have been nice. It's seat yourself, that's fine but acknowledge the customer in your section whether they are new or locals that are constantly there. By the time our waitress acknowledged us and asked us what we wanted to drink we were also ready to order but we were unable to give her our order until she came back with the drinks. My husband chose what he thought was a lunch special and it said grilled chicken was actually 9.99 (drink not included he got a large sweet tea to go) and mine was an actual lunch special. I got water to drink and the name was kinda confusing (7.99 came with 2 sides and your choice roll or cornbread no drink no dessert etc) that was kind of confusing it said baked chicken and dressing and in my mind I was picturing dressing with shredded chicken over it with gravy poured over the top or something along those lines instead it was a bone-in chicken breast that had been baked in the oven with dressing on the side and gravy poured over the dressing. The only part that was up to my expectations were the fried green tomatoes and they were excellent. The chicken was spiced with something that left it pink in places making my mind correlate it not being very hot with it not being done so that was kind of uncomfortable trying to eat chicken that had a little pink tinges to it. I know it was spices but my brain still kept trying to tell me that it wasn't finished cooking. The potatoes were real but mine were kind of watery tasting as if they hadn't quite gotten all of the water drained out. The green beans were okay, but a bit on the greasy side and I had a macaroni noodle at the bottom (I know food falls as they dish it onto plates no big deal just sharing the entire experience). The portions were about medium. For the prices they could've been larger. The seasonings on the food were a bit bland. I understand many places not adding as much salt, pepper or butter as we're used to but there are literally hundreds, maybe even thousands of other types of seasonings. I am just absolutely confounded by people happily over paying for sub par food. The service could've been so much better too. I was never asked if I wanted dessert or coffee, even a dessert to go as I did not finish my meal. If I ever return it'll be to buy to-go and only the turkey and dressing since I know how it actually comes and I actually like it from last time. I don't recommend this place to anyone who likes great home cooked food from memories unless you're looking for something not seasoned and bland. Oh and of course to be ignored when you walk in. They also are one of the few places that don't offer a Veterans discount either. Maybe I should try breakfast. Last time I tried that I sat at the window and no one ever came and took my order. I waited 15 minutes and left. Over priced small-medium portions. Smh so...
Read moreThis is a great restaurant so the one star isn’t for the food or the service or anything, all that stuff is great! But there is a huge problem with the website as this business will tell you they don’t offer online ordering but if you go on the website it shows where you can place an order online… DONT! It is a SCAM if you look in the top right corner of the “order now” screen, you will see something that says that this is an “ad” by google, and it was placed by someone named Jordan? Anyways so my uncle went on aunt beas website this morning and he saw this “ad” thinking that he was able to order online from this restaurant and whenever he put in his card information in, he said it disappeared and then he got a call from his bank saying that someone in California tried to use his card 3 times to purchase 43 dollars worth of food, please please please get rid of this “ad” because there are probably other people who will end up falling for this phishing scam and this business should be notified that someone has created an ad on their website for ordering online when in fact this business doesn’t offer online orders, so please get rid of this “ad” so nobody else falls for the same scam. Also I did report the “ad” to google but this business should clean house with their website before more of their customers fall victim to this scam. Also my uncle did let someone at the business know but he said that she didn’t seem to care and verified that they don’t do...

Unbelievable. We are just at loss of words with this place.
I called to place a pick up order. When my husband got there to pick up the food, he was informed that our food wasn't ready and he needed to wait for a little bit. He said okay and waited. Everybody that came after him (in the drive thru line) got their food and he was still waiting. He could see the bag of our food just sitting there but nobody came to the window. After waiting about 10mins, he parked the car and went inside. He pointed at the bag and paid for the food. Got home and we were missing a food item. It went downhill from here.
I called to informed them about our missing food item. She gave the phone to someone else. No apology. I told them the fried tenderloin sandwich was missing. She gave me grieve about having to look over 200 receipts to see my order. I told her that my husband just left there probably 2 minutes ago. Still no apology. Told her my husband will be back to pick up the missing food item.
He got back and we opened the food. It wasn't a sandwich. It was just a single piece fried tenderloin. They didn't even care to check the item that they missed before. Called back and was offered a refund. I declined.
We won't be going back again. I'd be more than happy to make the 25 minutes drive to IHOP or the pancake house in...
