The Phat Cat Cafe — Restaurant in Greeneville

My family eats at the Phat Cat every friday evening, kind of just a regular visit we've developed over the past few months, and we've just plain come to love the place. The menu isn't exotic, but everything on it has been great, and the service is super. Always the same two guys, the owner hosting, and the cook, and they're both extremely friendly and fun to talk with. Prices are quite reasonable, expect $8-10 a plate, depending on what you order, and the portions are generous without being absurd, I'd consider them perfectly sized.

This was our first time eating here and we was amazed at how good the food was! I tried the club sandwich and it was with out a doubt the best I've ever had! The cheeseburger is fresh patted out meat and was awesome too. The fries are hand cut and amazing. The owner is very nice and friendly and makes sure everything is just right and makes you feel welcomed. The inside of this place is very nice and cozy with real hard wood floors that has a very nice cozy feeling. I HIGHLY recommend eating here. As for us it won't be our last time coming...

We walked in to find our own seat and we’re met with a hateful server. Kids aren’t welcome as the man clearly did not want us there. Food was what I could make at home and atmosphere was less than desirable. Bathrooms weren’t marked so we went elsewhere to use the facilities. The server was extremely rude. I’ve never had such terrible service. He also charged my parents for 2 meals when they ordered one and split it! Talk about...
