Now I remember why I stopped coming here several years ago. I came in because I saw they had a promotion for BOGO 100% off wings. I ordered cheese curds and 30 wings, half lemon pepper dry rub and half garlic parm. The cheese curds were alright, I'd give them a 4 out of 10. The wings weren't even worth eating. The first one I bit into tasted like I was eating part of a mummy because it was so dried out. It tasted like it came out of a dehydrator. I said something to the server and she said it's likely because it was a dry rub and not covered in sauce. I tried one of the garlic parm ones and it wasn't much better. They had so much sauce on them that I scraped most of it off with a napkin. Even the sauce didn't help. I kept trying to feel the wings for the ones with the softer meat, and it didn't seem to matter much. About 2\3 of them were dried out. She stopped by again and I told her they weren't getting much better. She asked me if I wanted them remade. I hate wasting food, so I told her that I'd try and power through them. I guess that was my mistake. After trying to eat about 12 of them I gave up. She came by again and I told her that I couldn't eat anymore of them, that they were too dried out and tough. She said she'd talk to her manager. She brought the bill out and said they would just charge me for 6 wings. These are by far the worst wings I've ever eaten, or tried to eat. Even the Chinese buffet a few doors down has better, juicer wings. Roosters has better wings. Longhorn has better wings. Quakersteak and Lube has better wings. Buffalo wings and rings has better wings. Sheetz has better wings. Hell, even Little Caesars has better wings! Now I guess I'll go get some wings from Sheetz and get this nasty taste out of my mouth.
EDIT: After I wrote my review I decided to read reviews others had left. Apparently the wings being dried out isn't an isolated problem. I read about 20 reviews and at least 5 mentioned the wings being dry and overcooked. One person mentioned it tasted like eating jerky. I have to agree. Definitely the worst wings I've ever had and I definitely...
Read moreDecided to stop at this location for dinner tonight! I haven’t been there in years and it sounded good. I’ve always enjoyed Buffalo Wild Wings. The place was unusually dead for a Friday night so we were seated right away. Our server was so nice and accommodating. We ordered the ultimate nachos for the app. This dish was good, but underwhelming. It was just chips, queso and peppers. I wish I could have just ordered some chips and queso instead. My wife’s boneless wings looked amazing and she enjoyed them as always.
My wings (traditional; Asian Zing) tasted okay, but the size of them wasn’t worth the price. They’re definitely some of the smallest chicken wings I’ve ever had. They came out five minutes after I ordered them which was a little bit concerning, almost like they had them waiting back there already cooked to just toss in some sauce and serve. Maybe they were double fried just to heat them back up and that’s why they were so puny and hard/dry.
I would go back if somebody invited me, but it would be a hard pass if it was up to me. Way better chicken wings out there at a way...
Read moreI've been a long time fan of B-Dubs. But, as typically happens in the food industry, loyalty is overlooked in favor of ever higher profits. The food quality has dropped, though not as much as with other chains. The portion size has gone down, quite a bit, though most notably with the sides, where they tend to have their highest profits next to drinks. (PS - the water tastes like it came straight out of a river). On the bright side, the cost of everything has gone up to the point where taking the kids with us is no longer an option. Service has been declining along with the above items, however that's an industry wide issue and not just related to that store. (I'm sorry but you should never walk by the table you're serving and not check in, even briefly, especially when your total visits to said table only total 4). As I cannot stand the other "wing" joint in town, I will likely continue to go to B-Dubs, but my number of visits per month has already gone way down, and will likely keep going down unless I see...
