Folks unless you've been to a real authentic Chinese joint in say Chinatown in New York or LA or even China the Chinese food offered at most restaurants and buffets ain't Chinese food. Being in a small town USA this place I guess it's okay for most people. But I've been to a couple of really great Chinese buffets and this one just has your regular chicken dishes with two or three different sauces and the same pieces of chicken and mostly chicken. The most exotic thing was frog legs and I didn't try those nor will I touch any cold seafood on that salad bar. I've learned my lesson about shellfish such so I stuck to the cook shrimp and man they had like two or three pans of shrimp this shrimp that it look like Bubba Gump's. Just like the chicken basically all the same little cocktail type shrimp just cooked differently. Only one beef dish that I could find and it wasn't looking very good so I passed. Zero pork and I don't know why but these buffets seem to steer away from the pork which is my favorite. I usually gauge Chinese place by their hot and sour soup and this one well let's say I've had better. These places must all be related cuz they have practically identical decor and stuff on the menu. There's only so much chicken and shrimp you're going to eat. They did have real buckets of ice cream in a freezer and clean scoopers and dishes So there's that. If you're from Lancaster or stuck driving by there and jonesing for Chinese food at least it beats the fast food joints which are awful and usually have some pimply kids back there messing...
Read moreFood was good as usual, when we were done with the food I didn’t receive a receipt to tell me how much the food coast!! I went up to the desk and told them I didn’t receive one the lady at the front said we know we know , she then proceeded to put her hand out and wait for my method of payment ( which was a debit card) and kept her hang out and started getting snappy. I pulled my card out and asked how much she said $23.12 I said cool handed her my debit card she pulled out four fortune cookies and placed them on the table. After this she took the cookies back and laid two receipts in front of me I asked which one I signed and she slammed her hand on the one that I signed and I then asked where I signed because this was my first debit card to where I signed the receipt, she was huffing and puffing at this point and when I checked the receipt in my vehicle it said the amount was $32.12 not $23.12 as I expected it to be I called in to one avoid confrontation if I had gone in and complained about her rudeness and impoliteness and two because I needed to take my husband into work. When I called in to report this the manager said everything was fine nothing the lady did was wrong and that the price was what she had told me ( Which it wasn’t) and did nothing about the lady being rude and disrespectful towards me. Well this will be the last time I visit that store completely!!!! Very ashamed of how this...
Read moreFood quality is decreasing along with buffet choices. I don’t understand the price difference between lunch and dinner, the buffet choices do not change at dinner time. Too much Chinese fish dishes. MSG strong today, I could taste it and it made my tongue numb. We were given our bill twenty minutes after being seated. No General Tso chicken, no lo mein, no fried rice, hard white rice, dried out fried chicken, dried out black pepper chicken, and no spring rolls anymore? They dropped orange chicken, honey chicken, five spice chicken, spring rolls, sushi, Mongolian beef, and changed recipes for other dishes using cheaper filler vegetables. Black pepper chicken is now cooked with green pepper instead of zucchini. Now it tastes liked fried green peppers. The server took plates without asking if we were finished and never refilled our beverages. But she did find time to watch me pay my bill so she could see the tip. One server for the whole dining area, but only four tables to serve. Less food, cheaper ingredients heavy MSG but prices increasing. Menu items are great, I recommend ordering from the menu and taking it home.
Last three take out orders wrong. It’s not the staff taking the order, it’s the kitchen staff doing what ever they feel like doing. For $82.30 for six entrees and three appetizers, you could at least get the...
