I came here on a date a very long time ago. I wish I took pictures to show but at the time it was the last thing on my mind. I’ve been trying to find the this restaurant on google for a while now so I’m glad I finally did. It brings back memories. I was here in 2021.
I wasn’t sure if I what I was getting myself into when my date said we’re getting tacos. I’m from California and tried Mexican food all over the country so I’ve experienced a lot of disappointment through my travels. I was only in Vermont to visit her at the time.
We got to this place and thought the place definitely looks Mexican from the outside and inside. The lady that sat us was very nice. She was very happy I spoke Spanish with her. I did not know it was Mexican and Salvadoran restaurant until I looked at the menu. I ordered asada and al pastor tacos. Let me tell you… I was so surprised how good these tacos were. I couldn’t believe I was eating in Massachusetts, the New England area. My date asked me if I liked them but I couldn’t answer because I was shocked. When I ever go back to New England this place will be my first place to get food from. I highly recommend this place and you will fall In love with the food. This beautiful place did not disappoint and I miss...

My partner's burrito bowl was a good size, but I was a little underwhelmed at the size of my enchiladas. Desserts were a good-size.

Our waitress was nice (she saved me from ordering a meal that would have been way too hot for me), but I couldn't help but notice that a couple other staff members were just sitting around in a booth doing nothing (with their faces glued to their screens), while our waitress was running her ass off. Idle staff could have gotten involved in a team effort to clear our dishes or refill our water while our waitress was off elsewhere. I'm not sure why one person was doing three-quarters of the front-end work.
The restaurant was neat, clean, and bright, but the downtown area is a bit rundown...
Read moreThis place is almost literally a hole in the wall, but once you go down the stairs into the restaurant it's really cool! The vibes are immaculate, the music isn't too loud (the song choices are wonderful) and the staff was very friendly. We got two burrito bowls which were delicious, and if you like REALLY spicy Mexican (like me) this place does it! We will be here again.
There is an elevator next to the restaurant (the door that says "238") that delivers you to the basement, as well as a handicapped space close by so it...
