Hangar of Greenfield — Restaurant in Greenfield

On 6/14 ordered a large order which included large onion rings. Once I received my order it was the size of a small order in a large box. The onion rings appeared to be old and burnt. The person at the front was extremely rude and irritated with doing his job and was not helpful at all. He even lied a few times informing me that I could get a refund then I couldn't per the manager. Then when I asked to speak to the manager he said the manager left out the back door to deliver. When i told him I was sitting in my car out back and no one left the entire time I was back there he said he couldn't deal with me and stormed to the back. When another girl came to take charge of my issue she actually got a manager in the phone and told me I could get a refund but since i paid with my card I would be charged twice and get the refund on my card in a few days. I didn't want to take the chance of getting my money stolen for a second time so I just took the order and left. I will never do business with them again and will tell everyone I recommended to then to never do business as well. During times like these you should not be scamming people and over charging them for what they expected. I've ordered there multiple times and know exactly what I am talking about when I say they did not give me what I paid for.

Update: Manager called me back immediately about my concerned and apologized about the negative interaction I had with a new staff member and also educated me on how things are portioned. That overall experience was very satisfying and genuinely made me feel like she cares about her customers and keeping the reputation of her business at good standings. Glad to have had that talk with her....

I’ll start by saying, I love the hanger. I come often regardless of all the recent problems, but I just feel like it’s getting worse. Upon frequent visits in recent times their grill has been down, which has made burgers unavailable and that’s fine, I get it. But today, today I was told they have one kitchen staff on and cannot do grilled chicken. First time that’s happened here and for Christ sake, it’s a chicken joint.

The short staff and lack of options is killing this place. It’s more of a glorified bar now, and if that’s what they want to do, that’s what it’ll become, and I’ll have to go somewhere else.

8/21/22 - I was asked to reach out and contact the GM and did so. She informed me that the day of my visit the majority of their kitchen staff were not in and they returned to a full menu when the adequate staffing arrived. I have been one other time since and all was well, slow, but well.

Today however, the grill is down once again. We called ahead to check, so we didn’t waste our time, and I would recommend you do the same until they can get...

By far the worst place I have ever been too! After 10 minutes of sitting at the bar we were finally asked what we wanted to drink. She told us she needed to take and hold our cards to keep a tab open (not uncommon) she left our cards on the bar top behind the register out in the open in front of other customers. I was uncomfortable with this so I asked if I could cash my tab out so I could have my card back. I was met with the bartender telling me if I don’t know how a bar works don’t come to one. Meanwhile she lost a card that belonged to a geust next to us continued to tell him he never gave it to her just for her to find it in the pile of cards never to apologize. I let it go and tried to have a good night 10 mins later the owner came out threatening our group if we don’t tip his bartender he will call the cops. He also told us if we had a problem with that he would (throw down) with us. Called us some choice names and then left to call the cops. Do not give this shady establishment your money or a card.
