AGNI HAS RISEN TO BECOME THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE TRIAD. The lunch buffet is always diverse and delicious and the staff always accommodating. We ordered online recently and the website (updated) is easy to navigate and has pictures of the cuisine! The most critical aspect of the order, though, would be the quantity, correctness, and heat. We are only two people and ordered 2 appetizers (gobi manchurian/aloo mutter ki tikke), 3 entrees, garlic naan, and extra chutney/raita (best mint and onion) - we also specified the heat required for each dish (extra hot chicken vindaloo, hot saag paneer, and mild shrimp chittenad - extremely important because we require heat where appropriate and Agni nailed all three perfectly - most restaurants think you want 'hot' but decide for you as to avoid conflict?). The quantity? We are on day three of Indian cuisine for dinner. The correctness? Everything as expected - perfect! We both decided easily the best Indian we've ever had in the Triad (was great before but even better now) - the heat added an almost supernatural component as the flavor and freshness of ingredients guided us safely through the experience. Oh what else? 20% off online orders...which is beautiful as Indian cuisine is not cheap (nor should it be!) - the only issue I had was not leaving a tip (paid online with no option of tip and had no cash on me) and felt terrible about it...but I'll get 'em back next time!...

I’ve been dining at Agni whenever my work allows me to be in Greensboro when they’re open, and I’ve never been disappointed. On the contrary, the food, service, and ambiance is consistently excellent. Every dish I’ve tried has been a perfectly balanced medley of flavors that never compete with each other but always complement one another. I am always greeted with a smile and the service is outstanding. The dining area is always clean and tidy and the music softly relaxing while you enjoy your meal. Chicken tikka masala is a must and goes particularly well with the naan, and, if you’ve never tried a mango lassi, well, you owe it to yourself to experience one. Thanks to the staff at Agni for always making sure I leave full, happy, and ready to tackle the rest of my day. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to eat here again!

Yup. All those 5 star reviews were spot-on! Everything was the perfect blend of everything. I ordered a masala lassi to drink (salty yogurt with spices and mint). It was incredible. It was like a meal all by itself. Very salty and savory and unlike anything I've ever had. The Agni Chicken Curry (medium spicy) is to DIE for. Sweet, and savory and spicy all at once. All those flavors deliciously and precariously perched on a knife's edge. I couldn't imagine it being any better. Damn. I wish I lived closer than 7 hours away! I also got the mixed grill appetizer plate. It was pretty good, but everything else outshone it by far. If I had ONLY had the mixed grill, I would have enjoyed it, but I wouldn't be raving like a lunatic like I'm doing now! You can't go wrong here!

I was reading some of the reviews and I was just amazed me and my wife went here a little over 4 years ago and we had just got done working a 11 hour day never had this type of food before in my life we went to the door and when I opened it I saw everyone was dressed up a little and here we stood after working all day and were dirty and underdressed lol we were going to just grab a couple of plates and go back to our room but we decided to stay and eat lol he man was truly one of the best host I’ve ever had we were treated like we were family and he ask us a few questions and suggested certain things that he felt we would like plus that was healthy and not going to be to much for us there was not one thing bad I can say about the service or the food I have been debating on driving the 122 miles for the hour and 53 minutes just to revisit this location so I can tell you that if you complain about the food or the service your probably a rival restaurant or or someone who has nothing better to do with your life’s than cause issues and drama for others but to each is their one own opinion your the one who’s going to answer for your actions and accountability in the end when it comes to your soul anyway I’ve been long winded long enough again we truly appreciate everything y’all done when we came and we are looking forward to seeing y’all again soon many thanks Agni Indian Restaurant for your kindness and great...

We dined at Agni this evening. It was our first time at the establishment.

Everything was AMAZING!

The staff was SO friendly! The food was absolutely perfect!

We ordered keema samosas and mutton roast as the appetizers.

For the main course we ordered lamb pasada, saffron rice, and peshwari naan. The rice and naan were literally the best that I have had. Most places have plain rice, but the rice here had yummy spices added. I usually get lamb saag at Indian restaurants, but I tried something new (the pasada). THE LAMB WAS TENDER & THE SAUCE WAS CREAMILY DELICIOUS!

I also ordered nepali tea for the first time!!! So yummy.

The portions are very generous. We were stuffed by the end of the meal and had leftovers as well.

Our server was RAJ. He was so nice to us. He checked on us, explained the menu, made good suggestions, and made us feel SO comfortable and at home.

A lot of places stop paying attention to you after you pay the bill. Not this lovely find. We sat and talked and worked for a little while after our meal. Raj and the staff keep checking on us and making. Sure we were happy (which we were)! The entire experience really made our day.

I have only written one or two reviews, but this restaurant was so good that I wanted to tell everyone about it.

I love supporting small businesses. So, I want to spread the word about this place.

And when you come . Be sure to ask for RAJ, SERVER...
