I was so excited to try this place. I was staying across the street at one of the hotels and this place popped up on maps as I was searching for food. I looked at their menu before I got there so I already knew what I wanted. Got there around 3:05. Ordered an appetizer by 3:10. I had to get my waiters attn to order food and I showed him what I wanted. & that was 3:15. I sat there for 40 min waiting for food plus I’m seeing ppl that came way after me get their food. Mind u, with in those 40 min my waiter never checked on me. Only one woman kept coming by asking was the appetizer good. So I stopped him and asked where’s the food and he said “ok”. That’s when I realized ok he doesn’t speak English well. He still never came back I had to tell a woman & I showed her & that’s when they finally put the order in. I was on a time crunch so I couldn’t wait any longer. I left the amount of money for the appetizer plus a small tip. I told him the money was on the table and pointed at it To make sure he gets it. I walk out to leave. 2 ppl come out. I translate with the woman to explain what happened. One man tried to make me pay for food I never received. I told her I ordered at 3:15 it is now 4pm & I can’t wait any longer. She was very understanding tho. I’m really sad bc the food looks so good and the appetizer I had, which was the oysters with shrimp & octopus, was really good. I think this might’ve happened due to the language barrier & that’s unfortunate. I would like to try them sometime again in the future. If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would. This was the most distasteful restaurant experience I have ever had. We came with a big people and when the food came out 3 people sent their plates back. Waitress took plates back brought them different entrees. When I asked the waitress to take my plate back because it was disgusting and rushed on a plate, she told me no she can’t exchange it. Why when it came to me I got no did not make ANY sense to me. I repeated multiple times I did not want the food and she could just take it off the ticket. Waitress stated that she will still charge me for the meal even though I BARELY touched it. My fiancé went to the “manager” upfront to discuss the issue and the manager did not care! She proceeded to charge us for the meal and told us she could only do 10% off. I also tried to speak with the manager to explain to her the unfairness and terrible treatment we were getting from the waitress. SHE DID NOT CARE and told us the POLICY is if the waitress takes the food off the ticket, it will come off her pay. Which is TERRIBLE POLICY and that should be ILLEGAL. The waitress then came over and began yelling at me and putting her hand in my face. The waitress told me “fuck you” and “if you don’t have any money do not come here”.
