Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Greensboro

I visited Applebees at 4:42pm on 23 May 2025. Upon entry into Applebees, we were greeted by the host who sat us at a table for three right away. It took about five to seven minutes to be attended to by the waitress but once she arrived, she took care of business. She was welcoming, professional, and courteous. It was like we knew her and she knew us already.

We were able to place our order with here quickly. We ordered traditional wings, mozzarella sticks, and boneless wings as an appetizer. Then, we ordered Our drinks came right away. All food items were served hot and delicious making it an enjoyable meal. Our waitress, Bre, continued to check on use to ensure that we were good and did not need anything.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very mellow, relaxing, and settled. It was very family friendly and handicap accessible. The temperature was good to me but if you or your party gets cold quickly, I recommend bringing a light jacket to keep warm. Especially, as the months get warmer. There are televisions within the restaurant that provide viewing of sporting events. Keeping adults entertained while being out and about. There is plenty of free parking at the restaurant, so you do not have to waste time searching.

The total amount we paid for four (1 meal was a to-go order) adults was $172.90 including taxes and a tip. That is a little over $40 each. The service provided with the satisfaction of each meals, it was worthwile. I recommend this restaurant and hopefully you are fortunate enough to get Bre as your waitress. If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! This has GOT to be the worst place in Greensboro NC to eat. The customer service is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Picture this: you wait 20 minutes for a server to come get your drink order. Another 20 minutes for the appetizers that you ordered when you ordered your drinks! Not only did we have to ask where our appetizers were, when the lazy server bought it to the table she spilled most of the chips onto the table and almost spilled the spinach dip as well. She didnt bring any additional plates for us to eat the appetizers, didn't apologize and just walked off like everything was normal!! Of course we proceed to leave. We see her at the register plugging in orders. The place is full but not over crowded. Servers hanging out at the bar, joking, laughing and talking with one another. Meanwhile, there are tables that need cleaning!!! We tell our server that we're just going to pay for our drinks and leave. She never ask if there's a problem, she just agrees and says she needs to get the manager. We wait for the manager. NO MANAGER EVER SHOWS!! The sorry server breezed past us like we werent even there. We dropped the money at the register for the drinks and walked out. While on our way to another place to eat, we call the manager at Applebee's to complain. Her name is Brandy. This place is the worse. About a month ago I went here and wanted to eat and the server was trying to put me at a table right near the door and I told her before we even got started that I wanted to be away from the door bc I had a newborn then she says well we don’t have anymore tables but I was standing there looking at a table that she could’ve put me at and there were people in that section so it wasn’t a closed section then she says well it will be a 2 hour wait WITH OPEN TABLES SMH so I left. Fast forward I tried the car side Togo and there was nothing car side about it. I had to end up sending my daughter in to get my food. Then i ordered at 9:10 app said it would be ready at 9:30. I pulled up at 9:26 sat there until 9:40 and still didn’t get my food until 9:56 then when I got it home and that’s only 10 minutes away everything was cold and my chicken was over cooked and burnt. It was as if maybe my food had been sitting and then they gave it to me once they stopped conversing with each other. Then on the mobile app I changed my side to broccoli 3 times and they still gave me mashed potatoes and when I called the manager didn’t try to accommodate anything so I will not be going back to this restaurant I’ll just go to the one on battleground bc I’ve NEVER had an issue there and they always get my food right and they actually come outside for car side and the staff are friendly and helpful maybe they need training from the...
