Carolina's Diner — Restaurant in Greensboro

I had the most ridiculous experience here . Went on a date with my husband and when our food finally got to our table my wrap was cold the cheese didn’t even melt that’s how cold it was . So I flagged my waitress down and told her it was cold so she took it back to be remade and I finally got it like 20 mins later after the cooks were in the back joking around . When I received my wrap i didn’t even get my side so I told my husband we were done and I didn’t want it . So we go to register to pay for my husbands because I told cashier that’s all I was paying for because of what had happened . She went and got the manager who’s name was Michael . When he gets to register I was explaining to him what happened and I was just frustrated and he had the audacity to say to me “it’s not the end of world “!!! when he said that my husband got upset and he told my husband to meet him back there at 2 am . He said he was going to call the cops and was writing down my husband name off his card after we paid on receipt paper . When we left he was outside writing down what we was driving and running his mouth to my husband yet again . I will never in my life return back to this location and highly suggest you get a new manager ... I would like something done about this and would like Sam the owner to give me a call as I will be reaching out to you tomorrow .

Update : on 6/1/19 my husband spoke with the owners son and we were given $11 refund back for my husbands plate and they said they suspended the man that was rude . In my opinion I felt like more should’ve been done . We wasted our time there and not only that we were talked badly to . Also I had to sit there and watch my husband eat while I had nothing because of their careless staff . I’ll never return...

My kids and I were staying at the crappy Days Inn across the road on a short two day trip before school starts and we got really tired of driving all over the place for food. Today I noticed that little place across the road and I thought we'd give it a try even though it didn't look like much, I was just tired of driving. And I definitely didn't want Arby's. When we walked over we were immediately greeted by the server and went to find our seats. The server was a very kind and warm, sweet young lady and she did an amazing job. Amazing server and hostess and she deserves a raise. The diner itself was very clean on the inside with a nostalgic Diner look and glittery seats and old fashioned music, it was actually pretty cool. And the food honestly surprised me, it was delicious. It's all obviously fresh and homemade. It was the best burger I've ever had and that surprised me. The tots were fresh and crisp and the potato salad was delicious with celery and onion instead of a sweet taste like you often find at restaurants in the south, I loved it. My kids love their food too and we're now enjoying desserts that we took to go. Enjoyed it so much that we're going back in the morning for breakfast before we leave to our home in eastern nc. I'm honestly wanting to come back to Greensboro just for this place alone and the science center too which was awesome. Don't skip by this place, stop in, you...

Carolina's Diner never fails to impress. It always tastes the same, yummy and delicious. Our waitress Cynthia is an absolute sweetheart who is sweet and gentle with her words. We ordered blueberry pancakes, soup of the day, and baked spaghetti. The blueberry pancakes are delicious and fresh. They melt in ur mouth and break super easily! The soup of the day was excellent. It was warm and tasty surprisingly by its look, never judge a book by its cover! The baked spaghetti tastes sweet, not what I expected.. It's okay, nothing to brag about. It had no taste after a few bites and was not really baked spaghetti at all. It was not even baked in a tray. It was individual portions! It's not worth the price at all for not even what it's said to be. Our waitress was sweet and understanding, so she let me switch it off for a club sandwich, which always tastes good. The atmosphere looks like a nomarl diner old fashion styled. It's pretty well cleaned and maintained, you can tell. The bathrooms are decently nice. I could use some slight cleaning but nothing to really complain about. They are fast to take service here, and all the workers are quick on their feet to get everyone's orders and food out the best they can,...
