Gotta give props where props is due. We had been planning a childrens ministry meal at our church for a few weeks after service on 9/20/15 @ (The Cathedral of His Glory) on Lake Jeanette in Greensboro. Well KFC chicken was on the menu and I was told we will get it at the local Battleground KFC as we usually do. However, when I arrived the manager Toni told me "no checks." She would not make an exception either or offered any solutions. Dejected and now worried that our meet up would be ruined I was in panic mode. I called the Market Street location to see if they would accept our check but no answer. I drove over and soon found out why no one picked up the phone. They were so busy that when I opened up the door customers had to stand aside just to let me scoot in . The line was literally out the door. I was really worried at this point that there was no hope for success on this day. After waiting about ten minutes in that line a young women from the kitchen area hand delivered some food outside to a waiting drive through customer. I noticed her badge read "Shift Manager" so on her way back through I decided to ask her If she could give me one minute. Tremain was her name. I hope I spelled that properly . She politely said "yes." I explained the situation and she said "I will call my GM for you and see if I can get permission." Wow I did not expect that especially with the KFC packed and backed up with customers on a Sunday. I waited and prayed that Tremain would have success. I could tell her manager was asking her many questions as she read the check info. They said yes and promptly packed us up 60 pieces of chicken and sides. The cook even carried out the food to my car!!! This KFC saved the day! Thank you Tremain!!!!!! You were so calm and collected despite your store being so busy. I am sure lots of companies would love to have you on their team!!! Thank you again!!

Read moreThis is the best KFC in Greensboro. CHUCK is an OUTSTANDING & KIND GM. They are pretty busy non-stop but ALL STAFF, esp. cashiers & other workers are very nice despite some customers being impatient & disrespecful. You may have to wait 10 - 15 minutes but the FOOD & PRICE ARE WORTH IT!!
KEEP IN MIND, WE ARE DEALING WITH A MAJOR COVID PANDEMIC & WORKER SHORTAGE, esp. in the restaurant industry. So please keep that in mind and be grateful, patient, and friendly bc all these workers & managers are putting their lives at risk to serve us daily, esp. for DINE-IN & CARRY OUT / CONTACT ORDERS. Please wear a mask for your & everyone elses safety. Im fully vaccinated but we have to think about others too. We are all in this Pandemic together - FAMILY!! I truly miss the BUFFET they ended in Dec. 2016.

There are some mean & unprofessional managers at that location. Thanks to CHUCK & other great managers & staff, Randleman Rd is the best one. Had one bad experience months ago bc they ran out of chicken. Waited 20 minutes to only get BURNT CHICKEN but that visit wont mess up the last few GREAT DINE-IN VISITS IVE HAD eating at Randleman Rd.

Read moreToday was the last straw for me. Me and my coworkers have been having problem so we already stopped eating there but tonight my grandkids wanted it so I thought we would try one more time. So my son made the run so we didn’t have to go out. Why??? WHY??? At 9:00 they had No drum sticks so we had to change our entire meal! Then he told me never send him there again he had never met such rude people ( he and I both are in customer service positions) then the kids meal tenders was so old they couldn’t even bite into them, there was only 1 juice box with 2 kids meals imagine the fight with a 2/3 year old 🤦♀️ then the mash potato’s had sit in the warmer so long the bottom was busted out, the gravy was completely ice cold!!! I was so upset. I called to speak with the Manager who said come back we will fix it (very rude) I explained we sent someone to pick it up, her response was what you want me to do then?!?!?
