We are from out of town and our local friends suggested that we come and eat at this establishment because at some place that they like to frequent. I was actually very excited for us to try something new. Upon entering the building there were three ladies behind the counter who initially greeted us but we just stood there very awkwardly for like 3 minutes until I finally said hey this is our first time here and we don't know your protocol after we had already been greeted. It was like they were waiting on the other one of them to cave in and seat is. So a lady takes us to completely empty section and just slaps our menus on the table and says you'll sit here. We wanted a booth as I explained to the lady when she asked how many in our party but I didn't want to engage with her anymore. The attitude was loud. My waitress was really nice and took our order. Our food came out in stages and from different people. My salad was mostly stems and brown. The waitress said she would get another one and I refused because the first one should have been fresh. The waitress said the manager would come over but never did. I ordered the ribeye medium and it was cooked beautifully but a third of it was just fat. I asked if the mashed potatoes were made in house and I was told they were but they didn't look or taste like it. Hubby ordered shrimp and flounder and it was really good. My friend ordered ribs and she said they were good. The kid got a plain hamburger and fries and he ate the fries took one bite of a hamburger and abandoned it. We ordered the bucket alcohol drink and I like the way it tasted almost like grapefruit but I couldn't taste any alcohol in it. We tip in cash so I tipped our waitress in cash. I was disappointed because I was told a lot of positive stuff from my friends who live in Greensboro. Then a second family came in and they seated this family right behind us and this entire empty section and their toddler constantly got out of the booth and was pulling on the back of my chair. And I'm trying to figure if the whole section is empty why did you sit them 3 ft from me. It was a large party and we couldn't hear ourselves that our own table. I think what a few small adjustments this could have been an awesome experience. I wish the manager would have came over and spoken to me like I was told she would that way we could have resolved some issues because I asked to be moved when the issues with the pulling on my chair while I was trying to eat got on my nerves really bad. A little communication goes a long way. If I can't get you to come over and do your job then we can't get nothing resolved. I think the icing on the cake was when our drinks came out and the lady carrying them had filled them all down besides and we already had no napkins so I asked her for napkins for my table and she brought three napkins for the four of us to share. When I asked for more she told me she would be back and...
Read moreMy family and I were there last Friday 08/08. We got there around 9 and all placed our drink and appetizer orders. Our drinks and the bacon cheese fries came out fairly quickly but that’s about all that happened. Our server wasn’t overly rude but she was really dismissive as well the entire time we were there we only got checked on once, no refills, we were essentially ignored. I ordered a chicken salad and subbed the chicken for salmon + grilled shrimp. I was well aware of the upcharge before ordering as I’ve worked for this very franchise before and the menu is still mostly the same. About 20 minutes after ordering my salad the server comes back and itemizes the subbed proteins and asks if the upcharge was okay as if I was incapable of reading and understanding that premium items and substitutions came at premium pricing. Furthermore the pricing should have been settled during the beginning when we were ordering not 20 minutes after the ticket should have been submitted to the kitchen. So at the 30 minute mark after being sat my family received their food and still no salad for me and no refills on drinks. After 45 minutes my family was about done and I had not received my food. The server finally comes with a salad covered in fried chicken and tells my that my salmon is still 3 minutes along. I point out that I did not order chicken and she tells me that the fried chicken is really shrimp (I ordered a grilled shrimp skewer not fried) so she returns to the kitchen to fix the salad and my husband insisted that we just pay for what was consumed because we were ready to go and we’re late for other plans we had. So we asked for a manager and the server finally arrived with the salad. The manager was gracious enough to comp my meal but unfortunately this ordeal didn’t end there. On our way to the movies I end up eating the salmon and salad on the way and sharing a piece with my husband. About 2 hours later I’m in the parking lot vomiting the salmon. I then spend the rest of this past weekend in bed. I don’t like writing reviews like this but honestly that was a horrendous experience and I truly hope that I wasn’t given compromised or undercooked food. This is our 5th time dining there (my 6th) and we’ve always enjoyed ourselves but if we decide to go back ,it will not be to...
Read moreI hadn’t been to this location in YEARS and for good reason. Party of about 20 for a child’s birthday party. After an hour & a half, some of the party had their food. There was hair in one dish. Siblings had to share a kids pizza and fries bc only ONE came out. Two tables around us came after, ordered, ate, and their tables cleaned. Servers keep stating their manager said “it’s coming”. I go towards the kitchen to speak with the manager and receive the same short, Curt response with a lot of attitude and a lot of hand Movement. I return the energy & I’m accused of “yelling” which sent me! Kitchen staff enters the chat. Mr. Greasy ponytail, who didn’t disclose his name, says he’s calling the police. Cool! I was on my way out but I’ll wait. Kitchen staff needed to focus on that chaotic disaster of a kitchen & why they can’t get out appetizers. Our server attempted to say something to me and was yelled at by Mr. Greasy ponytail who instructed her “Don’t talk to her (me)”. Per GPD, who was more than understanding even though it was a waste of community resources, everyone in the party was asked to leave. Why? Her issue was with me. I asked her directly whether all of the attendees of a child’s birthday party needed to leave and she stated yes, and that I was banned-Thank you! I’m certain I’ll be just fine! Hair in the food. Floor hadn’t been swept. Tables sticky. Food was all over the place in the kitchen and it appeared quite unsanitary. Hello health department! Miss manager was very much tacky in her response, had a nasty disposition, and did not appear to be doing a great job at “managing”. Complete sht show! Not only ruined the child’s dinner by not having food out but asked the party to leave prior to cutting the cake. The party STILL left tips for the server because although the overall service was subpar at best, she tried. Contacted Meghan, no response. DO...
