In mid-August of this year (2024), I visited Ice Cream Factory in Greensboro, NC. First of all, the staff is super friendly and helpful! I never felt rushed to make any decisions, and they were eager to have me sample any flavors I desired. All smiles and warm welcomes. It was like visiting the dessert version of Chick-Fil-A 🄰 I chose a banana split and replaced two of the ice cream scoops with dairy-free vanilla, keeping the regular strawberry scoop (I’m just generally not a fan of any chocolate ice cream). OMG, I cannot adequately express to anyone how incredibly delicious this dessert was!! I’m admittedly a banana split snob, lol. I judge an ice cream shop strongly by their ability to make a decent banana split. Calling this one ā€œdecentā€ would be a crime. It was so good that I decided to save half of it for later. That’s kind of a big deal, because I live 30 minutes away. I knew it would mostly melt on my drive home. The staff offered me a to-go container, and I happily protected my leftover portion while my husband carefully drove me home. I placed that banana split soup into the freezer and devoured it the following day. And, yes, the frozen banana split soup was JUST AS DELICIOUS as the original the night before. I was very bummed when I discovered about a year ago that my body is no longer a fan of dairy in ice cream. The dairy-free options in the world tend to be pretty boring and flavorless. That’s certainly not the case at Ice Cream Factory. Their dairy-free options taste better than many regular ice creams I’ve had in my lifetime. So, that 30 minute drive for me is well worth it! Also, the owner was on-site during my visit. He’s one of the friendliest and down-to-earth business owners I’ve ever met. I hope this business...

First time coming here after their recent opening in Greensboro!

The atmosphere is really clean and comfy yet pleasant as it's very nice and simple looking, they also have really good lighting here. They even play good music hits! šŸŽ¶

The prices are kinda more on the expensive side though like it's $6 for a single scoop of ice cream in a cup or cone. Different types of cones cost more money. This is definitely a one time must try location for their very sweet and rich tasty treats on a hot or cold day.

The workers are all very sweet especially Reagan with her very cheerful and lovely personality!

All ice cream comes with three free included toppings of ur choices that they throw on top or on the side in a lil cup if you ask for a bit more or they can't make it fit.

Everything here was pretty good, very rich and moist also sweet as ever! 🤣

They packed a lot of toppings on top they were spilling everywhere, and being it was one scoop in a cup it was a pretty good portion size filling me right up to my liking. The cheerwine float was okay and could use more cherries flavor as the ice cream overpowered it making it just okay.

Also while we were here it was only us in the building at the moment and the workers started filming a tik tok video of some desserts they...

I had the absolute best experience today at Ice Cream Factory. My daughter has an egg and peanut allergy and when I told them they immediately handed me an allergen menu and gave some recommendations. My six year old made her decision on what she wanted to order (because the wonderful employee let her try it), and then he told her she gets free toppings. He carefully placed her toppings on her ice cream and did an awesome job! I didn’t have a chance to choose what I wanted because more and more people came in and I was focused on her. I got to the checkout ready to pay for hers and he asked if I wanted something and I said I did, but wasn’t quite sure what I wanted yet. He said to wait to pay until I selected something. When I made my selection I paid for mine and hers forgetting to get a drink for myself (I got something with peanuts so I couldn’t share my daughter’s water). I went back to the counter and asked for a coke and when offering to pay (assuming the manager) said ā€œdon’t worry, it’s on usā€. This place definitely embodies a true ā€œguest experienceā€ mindset and we will definitely be back and will tell everyone about it. Keep up the amazing work, and the only thing that sucks is the lines will be longer because this place...

Wow, what an experience! My family and I visited the Ice Cream Factory in Greensboro and were absolutely blown away. When we pulled up, the line was out the door, which at first seemed a little daunting. I thought we'd be waiting forever, but the staff was incredible. They were so friendly and worked with a sense of urgency that was truly impressive. Despite the huge lines, the service was fast and efficient, and we were at the counter in a matter of minutes. The selection is insane! They have a massive variety of flavors, from classic vanilla bean to some really unique, creative concoctions. My kids were so excited, and my wife and I had a hard time choosing just one flavor. I finally went with Blueberry Limonaa and it was heavenly—creamy, rich, and full of flavor. This place truly lives up to its name. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is amazing, and the ice cream treats are out of this world. We're already planning our next trip back to try some of their other tempting creations. If you're in the Greensboro area, the Ice Cream Factory is a must-visit for any ice cream lover! Five stars!
