I ordered a take out order online late in the evening around 10:25pm. I unfortunately couldn't get there before they closed and waited outside til one of the staff came to assist me. I had tried to call but no one answered the phone, as it was after 12pm when I was able to start calling. I had gotten a speeding ticket, you see? Lol So a gentleman asked what I needed and I explained my order was placed at 1025pm online to this location, I was charged and payment had left my account, and I was aware it was after hours, but did they have our food, we didn't mind if it was cold. He went in to get the manager, Deborah. She came out listened to my story and said that no the order was not made... which was odd. No, a refund could not happen because the drawers had been counted and the safe was now locked... bummer. However, she did say that she would be more than happy to remember my name and order and would gladly fulfill it the following day and she would be there until 5pm. So I thanked her and said I would be back. Well... 2 days later was when I was able to get back to this location about that order. Our family dog had gotten deathly I'll and was our main concern for those 2 days and finally he passed at the vet and my family was exhausted and hungry and sad, as we had been called up to the vet hospital at 940pm-ish to say our goodbyes. After we told Tater Tot to rest easy and we would see him again, I remembered the Pizza Hut order!!! Comfort Food at its finest! I called this location and got a gentleman manager, and I'm so sorry his name escapes me now, because he deserves credit for being kind and diligent. After some searching he was able to go back into the system and locate our order and with limited explanation promptly advised our order would be started and ready for pick up in about 20 minutes. We rode from the vet hospital on Nicholas St. To this location and only waited about 5 minutes. We had pulled into the curb side pick up space and shortly after, the manager I had spoken to on the phone brought out our order and was very friendly!! It helped us to be able to move on with our evening and our grief with out adding an awful experience to it. This whole thing actually helped to make that evening better to remember because that Comfort Food was just what we needed if we couldn't share it with Tater Tot physically, well, we were sure glad that he could share the memory of his passing with a pleasant experience getting our Comfort Food that he loved just as much as we do! Thank you to this location for handling this situation with professionalism and kindness! We will be ordering from here often...
Read moreI understand that today is the $2 deal so the place is busy. I understand call outs and that can shake up the day for any business. What I do not understand is employees not acknowledging customers who are coming in to wait. I do not understand how you have an employee at the front of the business on a register cussing at customers. She has a curly ginger wig with a flower in her hair and glasses. The lady asked a simple question and she got attitude and disrespect in response. Then the girl proceeded to go to the back counter and continue to shout to at the customer from there. She made loud comments about ‘how we could make our own stuff then.’ Then she has her friends up at the front talking about ‘she hopes she sees the lady outside.’ This is the most unacceptable customer service I’ve ever seen.
I placed my order online 30 minutes before I walked in here. It’s been an hour since the approximate time of completion. Then after acknowledging that I was here twice. I heard someone in the back say she left. When I have been sitting here the whole time. Then when I asked about my order, proceeded to tell me that ‘we thought she left.’ I don’t even own a car to have gone to sit in my car. I missed 3 buses waiting and I still need to get back to work. The manager was suppose to be in at 1:30, never showed up. And I still haven’t been acknowledged for my refund.
Update, 2 hours later. I am just now being told that they do not have the bread for the pizza that I ordered at 12:45 it is not 2:37. I have asked about this order 5 times, I was told once that it was being packed and another time they were working on it.
We were told the GM comes in at 1:30 and that we could to talk to him. When he arrived, he was asked if he was the manager, he told us that he was not the manager and that he was ‘only here to help.’ Only for him to be the one to address me as the manager and process my refund.
Will I be compensated for the 2 hours of work that I am now missing considering I have to wait for the bus to get back to...
Read moreMy experience with this "establishment" happened about 5 months ago, but seeing as it was the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery service I felt the need to write this review. My husband and I ordered 2 Large Pizza's, a 20 piece wing box, breadsticks, and 2 2-Liters and although it was storming heavily outside they were open so when I placed our order I expected the food to be delivered well boy was I wrong! We were at a hotel, but it was different buildings spread out like an apartment complex and we happened to be in a building in the far end of the parking lot, so when we got a call from the front desk telling us we'd have to walk up there to come get our food I was shocked! Not only did the driver expect my husband to walk about 5 blocks IN A THUNDERSTORM to get our food and carry it back, he REFUSED to talk to us and would only communicate thru the hotel staff. I have honestly never been asked by a delivery service to walk to get my food, much less in the rain and was even more appalled when the I called and the manager argued with me for 20 minutes before stating "it's raining ya know? He (the driver) shouldn't have to go out in that!" My question is, THEN WHY ARE YOU OPEN? I finally told him forget it, we don't want the food and only THEN did he insist the driver would come to the room. In the end, they lost out on $40, and this location also lost us as a customer. What really gets me is how did they know I wasn't disabled?, or in some other way physically unable to walk to get my food? It'd be different if our hotel was in a single building, and we wouldn't have had to walk in a storm, but what they pulled...
