Laugh at the name all you want, but Breakfast Brunch offers some seriously good eats for its price point. It’s housed in a former Mexican restaurant, and the walls retain the same bright palette (reds and yellows and oranges) albeit with some farm-inspired décor. This fusion approach – a Southern diner with Mexican influences – can be found across the menu as well. Breakfast offerings include the omelets, biscuits, and pancakes you’d expect from the former, along with sandwiches, salads, fried fish, and pastas later in the day. Any place that offers chicken and waffles, fettuccine carbonara, and quesadillas has variety going for it at the very least. For my first visit, I opted for one of the chef’s specials: the breakfast molcajete. Served in the namesake sizzling stone mortar, it came loaded with homefries, onions, tomatoes, chorizo, smoked sausage, peppers, cheese, and two eggs cooked to order (scrambled in my case). The portion was huge. As it easily yielded two meals, the $11 price felt like a steal. However, this wasn’t a case of quantity above all: it was quite tasty too. The potatoes were crisp and well-seasoned while the chorizo added a spicy kick. Throw in prompt and polite service, and Breakfast Brunch seems like a winner for anyone seeking better-than-average diner food. Located at 4623 West Gate City Boulevard in the Sedgefield Crossing Shopping Center in Greensboro, Breakfast Brunch serves diner fare and all-day breakfast. It is open from 7-8 Monday-Saturday and 7-3 on Sunday. Family meals are available. Laugh at the name all you want, but Breakfast Brunch offers some seriously good eats for its price point. This place was absolutely incredible! It was my first time coming here as they had recently just opened. The atmosphere is super fun and colorful. There are chickens & rooster decor all over the restaurant on both the inside and outside, and they have a huge painting on the wall inside of the movie Coco. The bathrooms were clean and had decor on the walls left from the Mexican restaurant that was originally here before, which was nice to see. The menu prices were pretty good, and average being said, the majority of things here are all handmade and have love put into it. I ordered two dinner plates, marinated chicken breasts with fried squash and tater tots for my two side choices, and fried catfish with coolly greens and sweet potato casserole. The fried catfish and fried squash were hand breaded and very juicy. It was delightful! The chicken breast was a bit chewy, but it was overall really good, and the marinated flavor gave it more of a kick. The tater tots were good tasted like the average tater tots. The coolly greens and sweet potato casserole were heavenly. It made me want to eat more. 🤣 Our waitress Miya was a really sweet girl and very funny. All the workers here are super sweet.

Edit: It is not exactly advertised, but you can call in orders to-go/ for pick-up! They are fairly fast and the food has been just as good when I got pick-up versus eating in. Im very pleased with their consistency, and again, awesome prices. *end edit* Absolutely amazing! I came in on a Saturday for lunch with a few friends and was impressed with the place, the service, the food, and the prices! It’s like southern breakfasts and lunches mixed with mexican breakfast and lunch/dinner. All very flavorful, good quantity amounts and seriously, you can beat their prices- very reasonable. This restaurant is also huge and can accommodate large parties. Their horned beef hash and molcajete’s were amazing! I will definitely be returning.

This was my first visit to this place. Hidden gem!!!! I ordered the Brunch combo. It came with 2 eggs your choice of breakfast meat, a short stack of pancakes and 2 sides. I chose Grits and Hash Browns.

The eggs were cooked to my liking, the grits were really good and the bacon was crispy and not greasy at all. The hash browns were also very good. Now to those pancakes. I haven’t had this good of a pancake anywhere in NC. I’ve been living here close to 5 years and this was the absolute best breakfast I’ve had in any spot I’ve visited.

My wife had2 eggs, scrambled with cheddar and corned beef hash. She also got 1 pumpkin spice pancake which she shared with me. That pancake was absolutely amazing.

Oh and there coffee is also really good.

The food deserves the 5 stars. As everything came out of the kitchen and served in a very timely manner.

My order didn’t come out correctly because I initially requested sausage but, it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. The reason I gave 5 stars for service is because there was an absolutely terrible patron who berated our server and she remained composed while this person insulted her personally. She cried and remained professional. Low class people do these things. Felt horrible witnessing that.

The 5 stars atmosphere is for the restaurants size. There is plenty of seating and a very family friendly atmosphere. The entire staff was welcoming.

We will definitely return to this wonderful spot again. Thank you for the amazing food and...
