On 11/19/23, I mobile ordered a "Chestnut Praline Frappuccino" and set for pick up in the drive-thru. If you know anything about this particular Starbucks, you know that the drive-thru line can get super crazy, especially between 11:30 am-2:00 pm. As I pulled up, the drive-thru line was ridiculous so I decided to go inside to get my drink.
When I walked inside, it was also chaotic, which was expected but I didn't expect any issues since I arrived after the expected pick-up time. I stood in the "mobile pick up" area for 2-5 minutes waiting for my drink. After a while, I thought something was wrong considering the drink I ordered wasn't on the counter yet.
So, I decided to inspect the ready drinks for names and the types of drinks. This was my last resort because I didn’t want to be “that person” who is touching all the drinks knowing that it's not mine. I finally saw my name and grabbed the drink but I became confused because I ordered a Frappuccino but this drink I picked up is HOT. I'm perplexed.
I spoke with a barista and showed her what I ordered from the app. She apologized and stated that the drink was made wrong and that they would remake it. So, I had to restart the waiting process for the same drink I’d already pre-ordered. About 2-3 minutes later, a particular barista kept calling out a specific name and I minded my business because the name she was calling wasn't mine.
Apparently this barista WAS talking to me and seemed annoyed that this was the 3-4x time she’d called me. The issue is that she was not pronouncing my name correctly, so that is why I wasn't responding. I thought she was speaking to someone else. She asks (with an attitude) "Do you still want whipped cream?" I state '"yes."
After she finishes my drink, she slides it across the counter instead of placing it down like she did the other drinks. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. As stated above, I wasn't ignoring her when she was calling me. It's the fact that she butchered my name which caused me to believe she was trying to get someone else's attention. We all have all bad days but please spare the attitude when I’ve been extremely inconvenienced by having to wait not once, but twice for the ONE drink I...
Read moreMy daughter and I went and ordered her a mint mocha for her birthday today and the start of her 7th birthday was ruined mainly by the rude and obnoxious staff/manager at this location. We went through the drive thru, which was surprisingly short and we were able to order immediately. The time was 6:30am which my receipt reflects. My daughter places her own order and stated cold. The cashier asked hot it cold and my daughter stated cold again. We get to the window and the cashier hands me a scalding hot drink. I hand it back and she says pull around backh and we will bring it out. I was confused because that location only has a weird circle that circles to the front. She then says go to the front and we will bring it out to you. So I drive to the front and wait and wait and wait. As im waiting, im seeing several people come and go. I finally decide to go in. Scott was the at the front working the counter. I told Scott my situation and he worked diligently to rectify the matter. He should be the manager, imo. Scott informed the "manager" of the matter and she was very loud rude and even a bit disrespectful to Scott telling him she is working on it. I say to Scott, this was a mistake on yall end and I've waited over 10 minutes at this point, how are you working on it and others are getting their drinks while im waiting? Scott says "we have a queue that we go off making the drinks." I asked him it is the policy to put a drink that you all messed up at the bottom of the queue. He reminded me that he is sorry and attempted to give me a store card for the next purchase. In the process, he didn't quite know how to scan the card and attempted to seek help from the manager. She rudely told him to leave her alone and didn't help. I didnt get the csrd he attempted to give. After a long 18 minutes the manager throws the drink on the counter and walks away without telling me or Scott or apologizing for the delay. I asked her for a receipt before leaving. Scott was professional. The manager, I forgot her name was very rude and disrespectful and shouldn't hold that title. Poor reflection of a...
Read moreVery disappointed in my most recent experience. Team member who took my order in the drive thru was very rude. He told me he could not hear me upon ordering and I very nicely explained it was because I couldn’t pull all the way up to the speaker box until the car ahead of me pulled forward. I ordered 2 drinks and 2 food products. At the end of the order, he asked me to confirm the order. I politely told him that there was supposed to be no whip cream on one beverage instead of the extra whip cream that was on the screen. Instead of fixing it, he responded with “Yeah that’s why I asked you.” I responded with “Excuse me?” Which he ignored and gave me my total. Once I got to the window, he did not acknowledge or apologize for his rudeness. I asked to speak to a manager and I got the pleasure of speaking to Kat. She gave me a discount on my order and explained how sorry she was for his attitude. I, too, am a manager in customer service and truly appreciated how quickly she tried to recover me. It was just frustrating to me because I frequent this location at least twice a week and have never been treated the way that...
