I purchased a 12 piece meal about a month ago and I ordered 2 Mac and Cheeses and a broccoli and chicken casserole with 6 rolls. When I got all the way to Reidsville I was given cornbread, Mac and cheese, yams and white rice and gravy. I immediately called and asked to speak with a manager and she looked up my order and said she he young girl didn’t check it and apologized. She proceeded and said she was going to write down my info and the next time I came in to order they would replace it. Well I called in today to order again and have that replaced and the young lady that answered went and got a manager and she proceeded to say they had a 3 day policy. I explained to her no one disclosed that to me because I would have came back the very next day. The young lady who identified herself as the manager placed me on hold to go speak with the owner and came back and said she has my ticket and the owner won’t approve it. I asked for the owner’s name and she said Stephanie and I asked to speak with her and she said she was busy and would go check to see if she is available. She came back and said the owner left. It’s a shame for people to take advantage of people who spend their hard earned money at this establishment to be taken advantage of. No one disclosed to me on the phone that night it was a 3 day policy. I got 2 large sides and corn bread that I didn’t even order & now all of sudden I’m being told of a 3 day policy. As a paying customer that is something the manager I spoke with should have disclosed to me and as an owner it is your due diligence to rectify a situation with an unhappy customer, especially when it wasn’t my screw up. I would not spend my money here again. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I basically wasted $27 dollars bc that’s not what I ordered and no one bothered to disclose anything to me about a 3 day policy. The lady I spoke with that night apologized and said she was going to speak with the young lady about making sure she is putting the right things in a bag, she took down my name and order and said the next time you order we will replace those items. Today it is a different story. Everyone check your food even if that bag is tied in a knot. I can assure you this won’t...

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Stephanie's Restaurant in Greensboro. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire meal.
The food was exceptional - hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. I ordered the fried catfish with yams and collards, and every bite was perfection. The catfish was crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, and seasoned beautifully. My wife enjoyed the turkey wings with mac and cheese and collards, and she couldn't stop raving about how tender and flavorful everything was. Our daughter had the chicken strips with collards and mac and cheese, and enjoy it and had plenty left over for dinner later.
The portion sizes were incredibly generous. I'm talking the kind of portions that make you realize you need to pace yourself, but the food is so good you can't help but keep eating. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there simply wasn't any room left!
I must give special recognition to our waitress - and I sincerely apologize for not catching her name. She was absolutely excellent in every way. Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had such a pleasant, welcoming demeanor. She made sure we had everything we needed and really went above and beyond to make our experience special.
To the management: our order included fried catfish, yams, collards, turkey wings, mac and cheese, chicken strips - if you can identify our server from this, please let her know she made our visit truly memorable and give her the recognition she deserves. She's a real asset to your team.
My wife also paid with a debit card, so you should be able to find the order by our last name.
Stephanie's Restaurant has earned our loyalty. We'll definitely be back, and we're already telling friends and family about this gem. If you're in Greensboro and want delicious soul food, generous portions, and outstanding service, this is the place!
Highly recommended! Five stars...
Read moreFirst off my apologies for not taking pictures of the actual entree, I was that hungry but I made sure I took pictures of the sweets....LOL (of course)
I met the owner Miss Stephanie and she seems very nice. The food I told her it was awesome. If you're not from the south is that old school type of taste that your mama was in the kitchen cooking which my was! I miss my mama's cooking! I miss my mam!,
I had collard greens, broccoli & cheese broccoli, corn bread, the 9 oz salmon fillet with white rice, and macaroni & cheese. I've been crying out for some home‐ style food, that I am used to growing up with.
Let me tell you the desserts: the fudge brownie with nuts and the banana pudding, man let me tell you, the banana pudding was so good!!! It actually tastes like banana, not with preservatives. The fudge brownies actually taste very homemade, in my book that's very good! I do hope that all enjoy when they come here not to have high expectations such as some of the negative feedbacks 🙂. But to each his own....I will be back!
FYI: I didn't realize this until my associate had told me that she had left her wallet in the women's bathroom. She has such a large purse she didn't want to bring the large purse out the car, so with that she took just her wallet and accidentally left it in the women's restroom, which was only a matter of minutes. There was one of the people who work there that took her driver's license and social security card.
I downplayed this to three stars because the Stephanie (owner)may be nice. But miss Stephanie you're harboring a credible! From what I was told my associate told me that Miss Stephanie was very upset. Not all and everyone there are thieves but please just be careful leaving yourself behind in...
