Same old, same old.... When i just want a burger.../ As an update to Mr Dave Thomas's namesake, I was at Wendy's on randleman road today at 4:00 p.m. I was ridiculed because I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with onions and tomato. The cashier was polite and asked me did I want extra onions I said yes tell her to put half an onion on it, because I like onions, obviously saying extra onions.. so this turned into a whole debacle in the kitchen. I could hear the ridicule about my choice of words and my choice of taste on the front line. So I made a comment to the cashier that my choice has started a conversation. There was a little girl on the phone in the lobby sitting on the window, talking loud and being uncouth. While the debacle was going on in the kitchen about the onions she came around the counter just to give me her 1.5 cents. I know that being on the phone on the clock is not company policy, she didn't have on a manager shirt so obviously she was conducting personal business on the clock walking around with the phone. So during the whole debacle even when the little girl came from behind me all the way to address me the manager was in the mix the whole time adding on to the fire. So the girl with the phone proceeds to tell me what she is and isn't going to do I tell her to go make sandwiches she says I don't make sandwiches I don't have to go nowhere. Standing on the front counter using obscenities towards me. Never once did I use an obscenity. The lady in front of me couldn't believe what was going on and was saying just let me get my bag so I can go and she whispered to me she would never come back here which I understand. I don't think the cashier was part of the problem but the kitchen and the manager were all participants. My choice of taste is their job to please. Without customers like me their salary would not get paid. In the end I asked for my money the manager made me feel like it was my fault that I like tomatoes and a lot of onions and she said I need to leave. Thank goodness I never need to come back there because that was the most horrendous display of customer service that could...
Read moreI'm trying to be unbiased but it's hard here. This is a 100% honest review but this location is really nasty. I've found hair...like human HAIR in my biggie bag 2 separate times...(Out of the 4 times I've eaten here)on top of the rudeness of 2/3 of the employees. On top of!!!! The manager wreaking of marijuana and being so out of it she's not even able to listen to concerns from the patrons. ON TOP OF!!!!!!!! Someone rear ending me in the drive through. Tried to collect insurance info as quickly as possible with NO ONE behind us in a double drive thru lane and they had the callousness to come outside and ask us if we were even going to order anything or if we were just going to hang out in the parking lot all night. Like what?(Exact words by the way)After explaining what had happened, she asked us to take it somewhere else as we were exchanging insurance information. If they were busy at all which they were not, I would completely understand, but leaving the scene of an accident without collecting the proper information is illegal and that didn't seem to bother her at all. This place is a joke and run by people who couldn't get a better job, Even if they tried. Save your money. Go across the street and wait in line at the cookout. It might cost a little more but highly unlikely you'll receive the piss poor service that I did. I feel bad even writing this but that's the truth...
Read more7/8/2024, 9:30pm. The lights of the drive thru menu were off so at first l wasnt sure if the place was even open. After l ordered, l was told to pull around and park, and was confused as there was nobody in line behind me. I pull around and all employees are sitting outside smoking weed in plain view of customers and people driving by on Randleman Road. Weed smell blowing in to my car with 3 children inside. 2 cars ahead of me and none behind me and we all got parked. The first person waiting for a baked potato. The second waiting for 2 sandwiches, while l was waiting for 3 kids meals. I know what the other people ordered because three separate people tried to deliver the other two people's orders to me..likely too high to understand that the last of 3 cars waiting probably isn't the first to get the order. Matter of fact, none of us even should have been told to pull around to watch all the employees that should have been working, smoke weed with their friends..if they were working instead of using their job as a party spot, there would have been no wait. Where is the management of this place, and why is Wendy's allowing this trashy behavior to be the face of their company? I will never go here again. I read the other reviews on here and l am...
