Okay, so as a young local girl, I was a frequent of the previous Rialto. Nice place, great staff at one time. Anyhow, I came home from moving away some 27 years ago and went to a show at the Palace and then to this place. I thought visiting would be nostalgic, but was way turned off. The staff is less than considerate, they charged $13 for a glass of wine with a 2 oz pour. I feel like they are nickel and dime’ing people to, I guess, stay a float. Seriously, it was like someone is trying to put lipstick on a pig and call it a gastro pub, now it’s supposed to be all “bougie”. Yeah, no. New name, not better service or quality. I am sick and tired of the phrase GastroPub! Really? Does that give you some right to charge more for garbage? Anyhow, beware. As for me, I won’t waste my time again. Sad that they took such a cool place and killed vibe.
Not surprised at your response. What else would you be able to do other than lie. To be perfectly clear, no one did anything other than sip that drink but that was after the complaint was made. I’m mad at my self for keeping the drink, ordering the food and even staying. And please do pull your video footage if you can even afford to run it. I would love for the reality to be known. I don’t have to do better as a customer because see I don’t need you or your business my friend. I couldn’t care less about some small time bar in some small time town in western Pa, exactly why I left. Maybe get out a bit and explore the country and learn how a real establishment owner runs a business. I have a funny feeling you all won’t be there long. Sounds like you some big problems in the past...
Read moreTerrible experience. Went to get a Wake and Bake Pizza, which is regularly about $18 on their menu. However, it was their lunch menu, so the pizza wasn't listed - it is only for dinner. The server tells me that the kitchen can still do the pizza, but it will be a slight upcharge and only the lunch portion. Mind you the lunch time pizza portion/special is $10.50. So, when she said slight upcharge I am thinking a maximum of $15. No, I get the bill and she charged me $22. So, It would've actually just been cheaper if I had gotten a dinner time portion of the pizza, and it would've been three times the size as well.
Also, the pizza was supposed to come with a berry drizzle. She forgot to give it to me, which she had admitted to later. Because I didn't get the drizzle, I asked for the sauce so I could just drizzle it myself. She proceeded to charge me for the sauce which was meant to replace the drizzle that she forgot to give...
Read moreWe were in Greensburg, PA for a BTO concert next door at the Palace Theater on Otterman St.
We stopped in this awesome old style pub and were greeted quickly and seated right away. This place was packed, so it was obvious this is the place to go ! Service was Great Atmosphere was Great Location was Great Food was Great Price was Great The actual Menu that you look at to order food was horrible. It was dark writing on a black background, impossible to see what the menu even consisted of, or the prices as this location uses very dim lighting which makes for a great atmosphere but nearly impossible to see this kind of menu. It was also in different languages, which made it even harder to read ! This is why I only gave 4 stars. They really need to design a menu that is 100% legible and easier to read.
Thank You Nancy we appreciate your very quick reply.. You really do have a great place there... Brent...
