I stopped in earlier for a treat and was blown away by the vibrant yet cozy atmosphere and incredible attention to detail in the tea house decor and food/ drink items offered. The owners’ kindness made my day alongside the Steep Mountain brand herbal tea I selected which is now a personal favorite. I was surprised to find ice cream, boba tea, and a number of baked goods on the menu as well, so there truly was something for everyone! There is a loft area upstairs complete with skylights, pouf cushions, board games, and a children’s section; downstairs, I enjoyed looking through the array of beautiful, locally crafted jewelry, soaps, clothes, home/kitchen items, and more while my order was being made. This is the closest I have come in PA to the cafes and boutiques I loved visiting in Virginia and Maryland. I can’t recommend Steep Mountain enough and am already looking forward to...
Read moreGreensburg has needed a tea shoppe for so long!!!! I am so thankful that I finally learned of Steep Mountains' existence. Before even taking a sip of tea, I fell in love with the ambiance of the place... the plants, the zen like appeal, cute little trinkets, and hidden surprises. My go-to is always a London fog, but after inquiring about what a Steeps fog was, I decided to try that, and I'm so glad I did. It was absolutely amazing!! I paired it with an apple muffin that was delicious. I was so impressed with their tea that I just had to take an iced black tea for the road. I will definitely be back, and I'm so thrilled this brilliant shop is a part of this town! I hope they...

The baristas/servers are also (in my fairly limited experience, I can't regularly frequent every shop on the block) the most competent and friendly.
Their actual products are good. However the prices are a little....steep (drum roll). Though there are quality ingredients being used, $13 for a six inch sandwich is asking a bit too much. Stick with the baked goods, which are fantastic. Coffee is similarly over priced and have random twists that seem more instagram post focused, rather than sensical. All in all though, it's a solid spot.
A big shout out to the manager, who treated my...
