Dined in your restaurant on Friday, 11/8/19 for lunch. What a huge disappointment. Ordered your cheeseburger $7.49. Burger was precooked, not even warm enough to melt the added cheese. Friend introduced me to your establishment several months ago. Very good experience and food was very good. My waitress was waiting on a table next to me. She asked for my order. After the 3rd attempt, I was successful in completing my order without an interruption (1 burger, 1 water). She returned to that table and others behind me no less than 8 to 10 times. I looked her directly in the face upon each passing. Was never asked about how my food was or if I needed anything. Upon leaving, she did ask it I needed more water. I then confronted her as to her actions of her avoidance of me during my meal and that my burger was cold, bun which in my previous visits had been nicely warm and toasted. Fries were barely warm. Her response...our burgers are cooked to order. . Not at all true in my situation which I told her. Have no idea her name, but she was waiting the tables next to the window and strawberry blonde hair in a pony. The $7.49 burger reminded me of McDonalds/Burger King thickness. What previously had more than met my expectations of a great burger went south with my last visit. I suppose some people will never realize word of mouth will make you or break you and when a customer is paying with ones hard earned money.....a service should be offered to the best of ones ability which in so many situations is a thing of...
Read moreMy best friend and I had a tradition and a pastime in my youth. We would go on Saturdays to different burger places across the great state of Texas. We would search for the perfect burger. I myself being someone who loves to cook have always found that my kitchen is best. Little did I know that we were searching in the wrong state all together. The Angus Grill has created some of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. It is a twist on tradition. The Brown sugar egg melt takes the sweetness of brown sugar mayo and blends it with the savorly, sharp and distinctive flavors of two cheese's and sauteed onions creating a complementary taste between both sweet and bold. Paired with it was a fresh side of tator tots and a hand made dipping sauce. The lady up front was both plesent and helpful, and the cook staff was nice enough to pass by and say hello. For anyone looking for a great dinner I would advise you to stop here. Not just because they make great food, but because this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to have a truely...
Read moreWhat can I say? This is probably the best burger I've ever had in my life. It's consistently in my top 3 for sure and I just keep coming back here again and again. This was even the place that I picked for my special birthday meal this year (forget fancy fare, give me a good ol' fashioned American burger any day!). My favorite is probably the BBQ bacon Gouda burger but I'm also quite partial to the fried green tomato burger as well as the black and bleu burger. As far as sides go - their onion rings are some of the best I've had at a burger joint - crisp, crunchy, and a good amount served with the side portion (I feel like most places tend to be stingy with onion rings even though there is usually an up-charge). I'm not sure what special sauce they serve with the onion rings - there is definitely a plain ranch but the second sauce (maybe a bbq ranch concoction?) is out of this world! That special sauce would also be great on a burger if the Angus Grill menu-makers are out there...
