Brass Rail — Restaurant in Greenville

Unwelcoming and uninviting bar: Got to drive by a 10 person thug beatdown on Moulton Street in front of Circle K /Valero on way to Brass Rail, classy. Upon entering to blacked-out glass front doors we were greeted and seated then the waitress (thick glasses blonde) started the process of ID'ing everyone for TABC private club registration and then she went postal on one guest by refusing to accept his Federally issued Veteran ID card as legal ID he presented. She was rude and demanded his DL or told him she would get the manager if he didn't like that or he just could leave now (Could have explained her system unfortunately was not able to scan the card but she would be able to use his DL and let here management know about the system limitation). Obviously that was not the option she chose, rather she chose to exert her "authority". Seems she is not a veteran friendly person. Maybe it is the place? 5 in our group of 10 are vets, should have split at that point but we stuck it out. The rudeness and veteran disdain was even more apparent when she continued to bring one lady at our table a cold water bottle but would only bring him (now known vet) room temperature bottles. A couple of friends and I walked in and were instantly greeted with attitude by the female bartender working. As she asked for pur IDs my friends and I were playful and making jokes ( NOTHING rude or uncalled for) and instantly her RBF went from bad to worse. She asked us If we were drinking already and we told her we came from dinner and we had about 2 drinks. And she kicked us out and refused to serve us. Worst bar in the county possibly the entire country. I never have given a review and I usually don't like spreading negativity. Extremely sketchy service. Female middle-aged miserable excuse for a bartender. Only spent 10 minutes there due to the incredibly bad feeling emanating from her. Maybe she was having a day but still there's no excuse for a bartender to treat patrons so horribly. She was rude to another party there also. The service was so bad it was almost comical.
