Stopped in today to pick up some ice cream through the window and was approached by an associate at the window who asked if I was a rewards member. I explained to him that he’s I was and that a young female colleague of his had serviced me last month and had me fill out the paperwork in the window. He stated that he couldn’t find my number and that she didn’t enter the information. I went onto my Wells Fargo account to prove to him that I in fact had been there last month. He saw the transaction with their store information and still charged me regular price as if I was lying about a $3.00 discount that I was entitled too. He offered me to fill the form out again, but what’s the use when you already have an associate who didn’t follow through the first time. I’m not confident in their ability to perform the general duties of working in a drive thru window 🙄. To add to insult I asked for the manager’s name who apparently is “Jeremy” and upon leaving an older female engaged herself in the conversation by saying.. “Is there something the matter on why you’re asking for the manager” aggressively might I add. She said, “all because he can’t find you in the system?” I responded that it wasn’t about the discount/perks it’s more about the moral compass. Why give someone a paper to fill out at the window but never input it, knowing all their personal info is on it. She just said she would talk to Jeremy about it. As I drove off, I noticed conveniently I didn’t get a receipt 🧾 in my bag for the order I made. This is a tell tell sign of how business owners loose their business. And at a time like this everyone should be happy to still have a job. Attached below is a copy of the first time I went to this location in March which was less than a month ago. The manager should have taken care of this on-site. Instead I will spread this across area on how horrible my...
Read moreI went on Tuesday afternoon to order a ice cream cake, the employee who took the order was very nice and was polite but not when I came back on Thursday to pick up my order I was received with very bad unprofessional news. A worker was confused when I said I was here to pick up a cake. She then took about 5 minutes or 10 to I guess get the cake or to check it. But she came back telling me that the cake was never even finished and that the person who was making it didn’t even finish it. Now I came two days ahead to order it and they gave me a time so I know when to pick it up. I came at 2 a hour later after the original time which was at 1 to get the cake, so I gave them 1 hour to still have time because I was running late. The other employee said that I could get a discount and that the manager was coming up there to finish it. She said that I could come back in 1 hour. Now first of all it’s later in the day so the person I’m giving it to has to wait even longer, I have plans too you know?! Second of all I already had payed for the cake when I ordered it. Third of all the manager has to fix this up because of a unqualified employee did this mess. No it is totally so unprofessional and not right at all. I payed 30.00 for this cake expecting it to be on time and ready. Never coming back to this Brusters ever again. I will spend my money somewhere else. Also the employee that was there when I came to pick up the cake was very loopy from...
Read moreBrusters Ice Cream on Pelham was not good. The serving size is super small. I got two scoops and each scoop was like a tablespoon amount. Next the flavor and quality of the ice cream was terrible. For example, nothing about the flavor or consistency tasted remotely homemade. I have made homemade ice cream using real ingredients like fresh cream, eggs, milk and sugar. Bruster’s ice cream tastes like cheap Walmart brand ice cream. You know how cheap Walmart ice cream is all fluff and whip cream…it just tastes cheap. This type of ice cream melts quickly too as mine did today at Bruster’s. I find it hard to believe that Bruster’s ice cream is in fact homemade. It tastes artificial and full of preservatives. Save your money. Bruster’s may have had good ice cream at one time….but like everything these days, it appears the owners of Bruster’s care more about their bottom line rather than delivering a quality product....
